I love the Lord, but I dont know what he thinks about drugs, i believe that if you love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul, you will be blessed, and I dont think God will mind if you do it as long as you don't let it run your life, you put God first, and you don't do bad things to fit into the crowd, what do you think. I would like real answers. Please dont say stuff like "Quit smoking and you won't have to worry about it" Because that is stupid.

i can't imagine that an all-loving god would allow a retarded person to go to hell just because he's not capable of rational thought. it's not his fault that he's retarded. either god made him that way, or the devil did, or something, but he certainly didn't choose to be retarded.

and if god WOULD make an exception for someone with down's syndrom, would he also make an exception for someone who became retarded for another reason, say a high fever? at what IQ does god draw the line and expect a person to be responisible for their own beliefs?? --- would he excuses a person with an IQ of 65? what about 70? what about 75? or 80? or 85? ---- y'know,,, there are roughly a billion people in the world with an IQ under 85. would god allow all of these people into heaven if they reject his word due to their lack of capacity to understand concepts? -- where does he draw the line??????

Just recently my friend gave me a book about paganism and it seemed like a very interesting religion. So, I am thinking about becoming pagan. However, I am not sure how different the two religions are because the book was fairly brief. Dont get me wrong I love being wiccan I'm just curious.

He didn't want Eve standing around telling him how to make a man.

So I have been thinking about this... a lot of atheists, pagans, & people with alternative lifestyle choices say that Christians or people in mainstream religion have been brainwashed, or just bombarded with idea's over and over to the extent that they do not know what to think other than what they have been told.

So, I was brought up in a Pagan family, and most of my young life (up until now, i'm 16) was Wiccan, having found that as my own path. I recently converted to The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) much to my parents' dislike. However, I cannot shake some of Pagan beliefs and principles.

I'm confused. I've attended various churches my entire life, of many different denominations since a very young age, & all the schools i've been to have had daily prayer. I seem to have conflicting idea's that have been drummed into my head. How can I see through all the smoke & work out what I truly believe for myself, rather than what I have been taught?

Matthew
37 Jesus replied, " `You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

Why did Jesus ask GOD to forgive humans..... shouldnt we also pray to god not him.
If jesus was a prophet sent by god why do people worship him?
Why would God let his "son" or even a prophet be put through anything physically harsh, physical harship cannot surly mean anything to god .. he is God.
How can Jesus be God- the son of god- and a prophet ,human all at the same time?

All power that Jesus had , wasnt it given to him by God?

I mean no offense to anyone i'm just curious. please dont take offense>

I mean they have also discovered the battlefied at Troy, but I don't see people holding up the Iliad and saying " See there's facts, it must be the truth in here." This clinging to straws really makes the whole idea of your religion seem kind of pathetic.

We are born then go to school, make friends, get involved in relationships, earn degrees to get a job and get on with our lives with marriage, kids, retirement and then perish leaving only faint memories of ourselves.
Is this what it is suppose to be?
We pursue our dreams, have our desires, fears and accordingly face either joy or frustration.Simply being driven by our emotions and taking decisions and walking this path of life.
Is this only what we are suppose to be doing??
