My personal, daily, living relationship with Him.
He gives me answers so often through Scripture. He speaks to me through Godly people.
That Still small voice inside me that the Bible talks about.
And many answered prayers.
Impressions in my mind when I am praying for someone. I have felt the need to tell someone something but didn't understand what I was saying. Then later they would tell me it was an answer to something or about something they were going through. God is Awesome!
My Grandpa usta say, "it's better felt, than tellt."

There are certain things in my life--peace that Christ has given me, ways that he has made me change and grow--that I absolutely know I am not responsible for. The closer I have come to Christ the more I have felt myself change. I used to be so bitter and angry inside and he has melted so much of that away, so much so that family and friends notice the change. Another point that has been important for my belief in Christ is how he has actively given me inexplicable peace. For instance, I was completely afraid to die for most of my life and I would try to never think about it. I was just planning on facing it when the time came. But I started to study the Bible more and I came to a better understanding of God's grace and I realized that going to Heaven or Hell isn't something that changes on a day-to-day basis. I am unworthy, which is why I was so afraid. But Christ's sacrifice makes a provision for that. As I came to learn this, I felt more comfort, yet I was still sometimes afraid. Until one night, I was praying about it and just telling God that I knew what the Bible said was true, but that I was still so scared and I was reading the verse that talks about God leaving us peace, not like the world gives, and then it just descended upon me. Now some people might attribute this to fooling yourself, but most of my life I had been fooling myself. I had been a Christian for a long time, but I always just shoved that fear in the back of my mind, covering it up with comfortable bedtime stories and trivial conversation. But at this point, I could think about how I would one day die and I still felt this insane and heavy peace. It didn't matter how much I thought about it, I wasn't scared. I could look at it from every angle and yet the peace didn't leave. And that is just one of the ways that Christ has healed me and only one of the reasons I know that he is real and living.

What makes you know Jesus is alive in your life is when you read Gods word and get the sense of it, you apply it. Which is a real challenge Jesus likened it to picking up a torture stake because of the pressures faced from those who would not understand our choice our love for him and his father. You will know Jesus is real in your life when you do as he commanded ``Pick up your torture stake and follow me.`` He said which means to follow his example in love in humility in doing the fathers will in preaching the good news of Gods Kingdom.

You can't. The relationship people imagine that they have with Jesus is in fact an imaginary relationship. People claim they "know" but they don't "know", they imagine, they wish, and they hope.
The reasons for not believing in God are much sounder than the reasons for believing in God. Click on my name for more info.

He gave me the strength to overcome Anorexia.
I wouldn't have survived if it hadn't been for the church telling me that Jesus feels everything I feel, the good and the bad. I thought. "he's been through so much, I can't starve myself to death - he'll relive it".
And that is how Jesus affects me and helps me eveyday.
