I've been answering some really tough Christianity questions today...Thank you! Finally an easy one. Millions of years ago, when God was creating the Earth, on the Fifth day He created Dinosaurs. Genesis 1:20-25. There is absolutely no reference in the Bible that says how much time lapsed between Days. It could have been billions of years. It never says consecutive days...just days.
Think of it in terms of going to the doctor, (for lack of a better example)
On the 1st day I visited the doctor he gave me a pregnancy test.
On the 2nd day I visited the doctor he listened for a heart beat.
On the 3rd day I had some blood work
On the 4th day I had a glucose test
On the 5th day I had an ultra sound
On the 6th day I had an amnio
On the 7th day I had a baby
9 months past between the first and last doctor visit, but I only went 7 days.

The Bible has a lot to say about Dinosaurs. And yes, Dinosaurs are mentioned in several areas in the Bible, it is just that for many years many people didn't know where and what to look for. Go to http://www.clarifyingchristianity.com and click on the link: *How does the Bible explain dinosaurs?* to find out all about dinosaurs in the Bible. Also you can look at Creation Versus the Evolution Theory as well, by clicking on the link: *Did the theory of evolution disprove the creation taught in the Bible?*

Are Christians responsible for Dinos or what.. How do we have to explain them??? They existed do I have to explain horses, cows, kangaroo rats, lizards ect.. Am I responsible for all these animals?? They were here with men and most of them evidently disappeared in the flood. The bible does not specifically deal with the word dinosaur as it wasn't invented, but then why should it explain each individual animal..
The Bible doesn't explain the primate people hanging around here, but they seem to explain themselves as being ape like creatures that are evolving from some muddy stew.. They just hang by their tails and type erroneous answers on YA.
There is lots of info on Dinosaurs and such. God is not necessarily obligated to explain each and every animal to us. Most of the God People can figure it out, the primates it takes a little longer as they must evolve more.. The real question to ask is how accurate is carbon dating?? That is what all the millions and billions of years are based upon..

Its quite simple. When God created the universe and everything in it 6000 years ago he planted the fossilized remains of beasts, that we have become to call dinosaurs, in the ground to make it seem that they are millions of years old. It is the only logical explanation(lol). Basically they cannot explain dinosaurs, I am talking of fundamentalist Christians that hold the Bible as the perfect word of God.

It's kind of hard to explain if you think the world has only been around for seveal thousands of years. Dinosaurs date back millions. the book of genesis says that god created creatures on the 5th day. But back then the concept of day(24 hours) had not been established, thus a day could mean millions of years. And if that is the case then one could even go on to argue evolution.

they are trying to explain that now. How convenient, but in translation to some of the passages to the bible the animals they talk about are the elephant and hipo. They did not had the knowledge of dinosaurs in the era they wrote the bible.
Leviathan has the following attributes according to Job chapter 41, Psalm 104:25,26 and Isaiah 27:1. This is only a partial listing—just enough to make the point.
“No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up.”
“Who can open the doors of his face, with his terrible teeth all around?”
“His rows of scales are his pride, shut up tightly as with a seal; one is so near another that no air can come between them; they are joined one to another, they stick together and cannot be parted.”
“His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning lights; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke goes out of his nostrils, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth.”
“Though the sword reaches him, it cannot avail; nor does spear, dart, or javelin. He regards iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee; slingstones become like stubble to him. Darts are regarded as straw; he laughs at the threat of javelins.”
“On earth there is nothing like him, which is made without fear.”
Leviathan “played” in the “great and wide sea” (a paraphrase of Psalm 104 verses 25 and 26—get the exact sense by reading them yourself).
Leviathan is a “reptile [a] that is in the sea.” (Isaiah 27:1)
just read and use your judgement

Prior to Genesis – Dinosaurs
I believe that God created upon this earth PRIOR TO Genesis 1:1-31, 2:1-3.
I believe God destroyed all prior creation (Gen.1:2) to bring forth man created in God's likeness (Gen.1:26), with an UNBROKEN lineage beginning with Adam.

What does 1 have to do with the other? Christians don't believe in Darwin's theory: that we evolved from apes; They believe that God put Adam and Eve down here in the Garden of Eden and Eve(being tempted by that "little devil", the serpent) ate the forbidden fruit and were cast out of Eden; You'd have to be pretty "out of it" to believe that there weren't dinosaurs!

Christians don't have a problem with dinosaurs. They have a problem with people saying they are millions of years old. We dont have a problem with facts, only lies.
