Especially the crap about "Science says we came from monkeys". That one really get's on my nerves. Oh and the one about "there are no transitional fossils" really pisses me off too.
Look, if you creationists are going to talk about something, make sure you stick to mythology. It's what you're best at after all. Do NOT make comments about science and established fact (yes, Evolution is a fact and a theory at the same time, just like gravity and thermodynamics).
I will include some links here for you explaining, in simple terms, things like; what a theory means in science. How many thousands of transitional fossils have been found and so on. Please read and try, and I mean TRY to understand the materiel. If you have trouble with it, say so. I'll do my best to explain what's going on in language you can, hopefully, understand.

I am a Athiest. I am fine with other beliefes and I think people should believe in whatever makes them happy. I choose not to believe in God or the story of Christ. I am happy, successful and loved. Why do so many Christians feel that I am lost because I do not believe in God? I receive so many e-mails from people wanting to help me see the light and find God. Is it so hard to understand that I don't believe in this. You can think I'm going to hell all you want, it doesn't bother me because I don't believe there is a hell. Is it so hard to comprehend that people can have different beliefs and be happy?

If you read Jeremiah, Chapter No.36, Verse No.30, it says that…‘Jehoiachin the father of Jehoiachin… no one will be able to sit on his throne - The throne of David, no one will be able to sit after Jehoiachin.’ If you read later on, II Kings, Chapter No 24, Verse No 6, it says that… ‘Jehoiachin after he died, later on Jehoiachin sat on the throne’ - Unfulfilled prophecy. One is sufficient to prove it is not the word of God

When I was an atheist, I thought that I knew who Jesus was, and now I see that I didn't.

The other thing is that I also used to think like many people here. I never hated him, but did not believe in him. It's very difficult. I understand that. The only way that I can try and make someone believe in it, is by being a live testimony to the great and amazing things that G-- has set for me. This is why I constantly post my testimony. Any other way, is simply to show love and compassion for everyone.

Genesis, Chapter No. 4, Verse No. 12, it says… ‘God told Cain: you will never be able to settle you will be a wanderer.’ Few Verses later on Genesis, Chapter No.4, Verse No.17, says…‘Cain built up a city’ – unfulfilled prophecy.

im a christian, i believe in God

i just don't understand this concept and i dont really know of any place in the bible where jesus said he came to die for humanity's sins

i mean yeah maybe he came here to us as an example of how to live, maybe he came to give us his father's message, but couldnt God have forgiven us without the need for brutality to jesus?

i understand that Jesus was pacifist and he had to let them do what they wanted to do to him to fulfill prophesies, but how does this tie in to him "dying for my sins"?

Yeah, i've committed sins and asked forgiveness, and yes jesus was crucified, what do the two things have in common?

If words have any meaning, do we need to add another word of comment to prove our case? No! But the professional propagandists, after letting the cat out of the bag, still have the face to try to make their readers believe that they have proved beyond the shadow of any doubt that the Bible is the "irrefragable 6 Word of God." Their semantic gymnastics — equivocating, and playing with words — is amazing!

"They've found fossils of seashells and sea creatures in the mountains. 40 days of heavy rain. It also says the ground opened up and spilled forth water."

Am I the only one who sees an alternate explaination for the fossilized shells on mountain tops?

Can anyone else give me one?
