I am, though be careful what you wish for. there are some people on this site who'll claim they're Christains but don't have Christian values. Judge by the word. And be ready for people who are willingly going to attck you because you are.
I know.

I am. I'm not from a Christian home; dad was alcoholic and used to smash mom around and threaten us kids. I was saved when I was sixteen. I prayed to accept Jesus as my Saviour. I fell away from Him, didn't go to church and didn't follow the right path. Twenty years later, I had a common-law relationship with a woman and we had a daughter. A year later the woman kicked me out and had her boyfriend move in. I saw my little girl on weekends. Five years later, I was on the way to pick up my daughter for the weekend. I wasn't thinking about anything in particular, sort of daydreaming. Suddenly, I knew they were moving, and it was going to be a long way away. When I got to my ex's place a few minutes later, she met me at the door. "Come in and sit down," she said, "I want to talk to you about something." I knew exactly what it was. I needed to be prepared for it because I have a bad temper sometimes.
She talked about moving 1200 miles away. My little girl was six and saw me every weekend. If I stayed behind it would have been like I died as far as she was concerned. I decided I'd move too (I was unemployed so I couldn't take her to court, a judge would've just told me to move). When I had a yard sale to sell all my stuff, a guy I used to paint houses with showed up to say goodbye. I didn't know how he knew I was leaving. I looked at my mother, she didn't know either.
Scripture says that Jesus is always faithful, even when we aren't. Once you accept Him, he's always there for you, even after you ignore Him for 22 years!
When I relocated in 1998, I began attending church. I had been reading the Bible and was inspired to memorize Matthew 25:40, which was unusual for me at the time, not into memorizing scripture. Later, in 2001, I had been focussed on looking after my daughter for eight years (her mother was unstable sometimes). I was getting pretty lonely. I prayed to Heavenly Father in Jesus' name to find someone to fall in love with and be with for the rest of my life. I told no one about my prayer. A week later, a woman I had worked with called me. "You're not going to believe this," she said, "but God inspired me to ask you out on a date." I went out with her and eventually, I asked her to marry me. While we were engaged, her father became upset with me and tried to pick a fight with me. "As ye have done unto these brothers of mine, even the least of them, this ye have done unto me" rolled off my tongue. That was his father's favourite scripture!
My wife and I will celebrate our fifth anniversary this fall, and I still see my daughter every other weekend!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
In Jesus' Name.
