There are Messianic Jews that believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, all other Jews typically believe that he has yet to come and are waiting for his return and the rebuilding of theie Temple in Old Jerusalem.

Jews believe in the Old Testament and therefore do not
believe in Jesus.Judaism is not just a religion, its a way of
life. Christians believe that Jesus ist the son of God and therefore the Messiah, and the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. Muslims also believe in the Old Testament, but for them Jesus was the first Messiah and Mohammed is the second one, therefore they have the Koran from Mohammed, Christians have the Bible which consist of both the old and the new Testament and the Jews have the Torah, which is the old Testament only. That's the way it was explained to me by my co-workers one a Muslim and the other a Jew.

You're forgetting....the Jews of the Bible were a people from a PLACE. The people in this day and age that we call Jews, are people of a RELIGION. Totally different. Also, yes, the Jewish religion believes in Jesus...and that he was a great prophet and teacher...but not the Messiah. They are still waiting for the first coming. This makes Jews different from Christians in the respect that Christians know that Jesus WAS the Messiah..the Son of God. We're now waiting for Him to come back.

Some do. Some believe another messiah is coming, and others don't believe that any messiah will come.

Being a Jew is more about genealogy than religion, even though the majority of Jews follow Judaism. Some people who weren't born as Jews have adopted Judaism.

People who want to continue Jewish traditions but believe God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world sometimes refer to themselves as Messianic Jews.

The difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Christians have faith in Jesus Christ to wash away their sins and under Jews following Judaism don't (they follow the Old Testament and Torah).

Some Jews believe Jesus came and some don't. Some Jews believe in him because of the evidence of his existence and they became born again Judea-Christians. Some Jews in Israel don't believe that he even came to the earth because of what the prophesies said how he should come. They thought that Jesus should come as a Rich King and riding on a white horse with a sword in hand ready to fight off their enemies but Jesus came differently.

Jews generally accept Jesus as something of a Prophet. But not quite as the prophets of old.

He not the Messiah they expected. That one will be a King, not of Heaven, but of the world. He will make the Jews dominant in the world and bring the "Pax Judeae". He will utterly destroy all the enemies of the Jews, and he will cause the Temple to be rebuilt to a level even beyond that of Solomon's original.

To most Jews, none of that described Jesus. Nevertheless, there is a Jewish sect who accepts Jesus as the Messiah. They are not very numerous.

First off,
quantrill37
The whole Old Testament is from Judaism. The Bible is all that PLUS the Gospels, Epistles (letters), & Revalation. More than half of what we Christians read in the Bible is from our Jewish roots.

NOW...

Jesus never said he was king. People would ask him "Are you the king of the Jews?" & HE would say (in short) "You say so." (Kinda like "Are you calling me fat?" "Hey, you said it, not me!") He also said, "If my kingdom were of this world, my followers would have protected me." His kingdom is in Heaven.

Furthermore, the Jews didn't kill Jesus. The ROMANS did. The Sanhedrin didn't have the authority to execute anyone. They threatened to cause trouble if Pilate didn't crucify him. Pilate didn't want to: he did everything he could to get out of killing an innocent man. (At least, as far as I am aware.)

Jesus was a real person. There is archeological evidence that someone named "Jesus" was crucified.

As for the third question, I think everyone else has covered that quite nicely!

Jews do not believe in Jesus. According to the Torah it would be impossible for him to be the Messiah or the son of G-d.

Judaism and Christianity are two very different religions. Not really sure if they have any similarities.
