I cannot think of any logical reasons, other than someone who enjoys readin Shakespeare, might understand the language behind it and even that's not a good reason, considering the source of this version.

New testament is 99.5% accurate!(spell.mistakes, similar word usage) Ex. "Jesus" or "Jesus Christ" different, but same meaning!Translations are always made from the original Greek manuscripts to avoid error. There are over 24,000 original N.T. copies avaliable, WAY more than any other ancient source. the Bible hasn't been corrupted but slightly changed so we could understand it in modern vocabulary. Wut do u think>?

Seriously... Is is my imagination, or is it ONLY Christians that try to "convert" people ALL THE TIME?!? No matter what I seem to say, I am told it is God's will, and I should recieve the Father, sell all my worldly possesions, and join a cult or whatever... OK maybe that is exaggerating, but why is it that it only seems to be Christians that feel the need to tell me what I should believe in... No Jews, Hindus, Muslims, or bloody Hare Krishnas have told me that I should join them on the path of rightousness recently... Why do Christians feel that they have that right??

The Gospels mention Money and being just to the poor and needy more than any other moral obligation. Sex and sexuality is mentioned few times. Does this mean that tending to the poor is more imprtant than sexual purity?

I dont Believe that these so called contradictions Exist, yet many non believers seem to say they do as direct evidence as to why they dont believe in the Bible or God. So heres your chance. Give me some direct contradictions that exsist in the bible. Of corse there are going to be some that are different between the New testament and the old. But things did change a little when Jesus came to earth. These are not Contradictions but a changing of ways when Jesus died for our sins. So give me some examples of these contradictions you are so fond of referencing without really referencing.

I have a question from our study book of new believers. It says When you accepted Christ you accepted His Spirit. What does 1 John 3:24 tell you about knowing that Christ lives within you? We are thinking that it means that if you keep Gods word and him within your heart that he will never leave or forsake you. Is that what it means?

1John 3:24 says: And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hearby we know that he abideth in us, by the spirit which he hath given us.

Im sick of these children telling everyone they're going to burn in hell for not believing what they believe. Is it to much to ask to respect others beliefs? If someone is a atheist, Great! If someone is a muslim, praise Allah! If someone is a pagan, awesomeness! Instead of all this condemning crap i've been seeing around lately learn to tolerate, don't hate on each other .

Sodom and Gemorah was about much more than homosexuality. The town was chastised for being arrogant and being unjust to the poor and disadvantaged. They were into gang raping people to show power and intimidate strangers. The way I read the story, these are the reasons Sodom was destryed. Any observations?
