Perhaps you do believe in God, but not from a theistic approach. Your approach could be different. Perhaps you should approach your spiritual journey from another starting point. What is it you seek spiritually? What are some of your spiritual goals? Is belief in God important to acquiring these spiritual goals?

Taoism, Buddhism, and Jainism are just three examples of religions where God is not necessarily placed with any emphasis. Taoism technically has no God. It has Tao which is undescribable ("anything that can describes the Tao is not the Tao." -Tao Te Ching). Buddhism leaves the question of whether there is or is not a God up to the individual. It never bothers to say. Jainism says in one of their sacred texts "If there is a God all that can be said of God is "It is." Hindus have a wide variety of approaches to God. There are Monistic Hindus, Monotheistic Hindus, Monistic Theists Hindus.

There are many approaches to spiritual life. If your spiritual goals for your spiritual journey require a belief in God, then you must ask yourself "what do I mean by the word God?", "What is the nature of God?", "How is God experienced?". Only you can answer the questions of your spiritual life because only you experience it.

May you find what you seek along your journey.

Peace be with you.

It's hard to start believing in God because it is kind of like a leap of Faith. It deals with knowing that God will do what is best for you even though you may not think so. I think that is one problem with atheists, because they don't like the fact that they have to rely on something else and that they don't have all of the answers...I'm a believer and the way I see it. I'd rather believe and live with the idea that if there is a heaven I am going rather than not believe and really end up in Hell. If there isn't...then what does it matter? I am at least happy with my choice :)

Here is a promise. It might seem silly to pray to that in which you do not believe. But how can you ever know anyone if you never talk to them?

So pray and keep on praying. Nobody but you and He will know. And when you pray, ask him to make himself known to you. Then keep your eyes and ears open. And remember, sometimes miracles are very subtle.

Want an example? OK. Suppose you suspect you are having a serious health problem. So you arrange for your doctor to send you for testing. Then you pray you will be OK. The test comes back negative. You are relieved. But who is ever to know that perhaps there was a serious problem that disappeared before the test? There are many silent miracles.

Just pray and watch for them. And be patient. God is Eternal, so time does not have the same significance to him as it does to us mortals.

Well, just a thought here, but different just means ... Different. Its not worse than, or better than, or bad, or good, its just ... Different. And there's nothing wrong with that. Maybe you're just supposed to be the way you are. Maybe you could let go of the idea expressed in your question and just practice acceptance ... Of your self. Just a thought. If you're happy with your own life, why create a problem where there is none? ;-) ~ Peace & Blessings ~

When first GOd created earth and human, Adam and Eve commited a sin, and all of us later are sinners. It sepeared us gro GOd who is Holly.
Later, because of God's love to us, He sent His only son, Jesus Christ to save us. He's the King and Lord, but because of His Love , He was crucified to save our lives so that we can have interaction back to God and heaven..
the only thing we need to do is accept Jesus and believe Him.

Pray and Asked for Jesus help, He will not let you alone.. Always remember His great loove to us, the love that never ends. And remember the promises that He make, HE will not leave us who seek Him..

It is such an amazing and wondorous time, if u know Jesus, our Heavenly Father, knowing that you are not alone.

If you believe in God(s), (any ones or only one will do) then by definition you ARE a theist.

because you are blinding yourself to the truth. there are miracles all around us that we all take for granted. for instance the equilibrium of our environment. if it was a bit off we would all drop dead. who do you think regulates all that stuff? all you need to do is open your eyes and actively looks for truth.
