Faith is a personal decision. There's not much you can do. Just be her friend and wish her well, she'll respect you for that. If you try to push religion on her, she may get upset with you. If it makes you feel better, you can pray for her. It's nice that you care for her, but she has every right to make this choice on her own.

I had an uncle who no longer believed in God because my aunt died 45 years ago when she was 5 months pregnant. Nothing I had shown him, read to him or explained to him made any difference. He was furious at God for taking his wife and child. Even when he was on his death bed, he renounced the Lord. All I could do was pray for his soul.

Find out why she no longer believes in God. Maybe she is confused and just needs a friend to help her find the right path once again. However, if she has as much anger in her heart as my uncle did, you will be fighting an uphill battle.

Good luck.

Be her friend most of all. When she needs a friend, be there and you can share your faith with her when it comes up. Don't push it on her. Pray for her and how you can witness to her. Live your life right and hopefully she will want what you have. It's pretty lonely not to have God. Keep praying for God to work on her heart. She's already been blessed by having a friend like you.
God Bless You!

All you can do right now is be the best friend you can be. You can let her know when you are going to worship you god and things like that, and offer to pray for her.

Don't force your god on her, she will only resent him/her more. Instead, be a faithful friend, and act like an ambassador from your god. If she sees how good and faithful you are, then perhaps she will see the light one day.

First she needs come to know that God is real....

Tell her to think about how wonderfully our bodies have been created. The amazing way our brain is capable of retaining information from years past. How our cells are constantly renewing themselves. The miracle of a new life being formed inside of you in only 9 months!

I could go on and on and on, but the point is, it is not scientifically possible for life to come about by chance. ESPECIALLY when you thing about how magnificently we are designed.

Tell her to ponder of that. And pray that she is provided whatever guidance necessary to help her understand these things.

Best Wishes.

Your concern is nice but it's better to let your friend have his/her own experiences and deduce accordingly.

You may want to hint some stuff but remember this is also something that involve complex stuff. It's not the mind only.
If you still want to talk about it, be delicate. Being pushy is not the answer.

So just let it go and be there to support your friend. Show your trust and just pray for him/her if you want to. Don't interfere between your friend and God.

Good Luck.

There is a reason he/she stopped believing. If you really want to help, start by understanding the reason. Then just be comforting, supporting and understanding as Jesus would have you do. And refrain from trying to do anything but showing your own Christianity.

You could tell her that God is not somebody else, or something separated from her. She is a part of God, that's a fact, like her heart, her legs, her eyes, are parts of her body. She just needs to remember that she'll never be able to sever herself from God.

I would start by asking her if she knows that she is going to hell unless he starts believing in god. Tell her friends that you think she's become a witch. Quit talking to her in normal conversation and just talk to her using Bible versus. You may want to consider doing a cross burning in her front yard. Nag her about coming to your church.

That'll fix things up.

Leave her alone. Pray for her if you choose, but she still has the right to choose or not choose your Deity. Nothing drives a person away from God than someone ramming Him down their throats. Be kind.
