Like a cross-religion. Taking parts from each and making a better religion.

This is a really good question. In high school, I had the opportunity to take a class on Islam and a class on Christianity at the same time. It is amazing how similar the religions are. The teachings are practically identical. The only difference is who they believe the prophet is. I think that extremists in both religions like to focus on the few differences, rather than the large amount of similarities. So, in answer to your question, I think that there is a lot of middle ground. The Muslims and Christians just need to quit looking at the differences.

There are definitely grounds for peace. There are many similarities. However, Islam is the right religion. If you want your Creator to save you then do not limit yourself to Jesus. Embrace Muhammad and his message. Then you'll be true to your Lord. Muslims believe in Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (as well as several other Prophets, some mentioned and some are left unnamed).

"Yeah it's called Catholicism, but it's not better.

Source(s):

They both believe in 'fate' "

Woah, there buddy!

Catholicism was indeed the first Christian Church to set foot on terra firma. Catholics are Christians, sir ... the originals, I might add.

If by fate, you mean a plan or true vocation for everyone, than yes. Don't confuse fate with "pre-destination".

The only resemblances I see between Catholicism (i.e Christianity) and Islam is: (1) We're both monotheistic and (2) we both wear shoes ..... :-p

Watch those comments, pal!

God bless.

No. To a Muslim a Christian is an infidel- non believer. Period. A Muslim isn't a lot different to a Christian- a heathen.

Is there a middleground between eternal salvation and eternal damnation? I think its all or nothing...You choose, because its your decision. Prov. 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Try the Unitarian Universalist Church. They don't adhere to any set dogma and encourage individuality.

You can try this but no matter what you do, you cannot change truth.

The one true God sent his Son to earth to die for me.

Mohommed asks me to die for him.

Which one sounds like a more loving God?

religion is not like legos, its all or nothing, either one religion is right and all the others are wrong, or they all are wrong.
