I say: Unification Church (Moonies)are the worst, followed by Scientologists, then the Church of latter Day Saints(Mormans) and then the Jehovah's Witnesses. But my room mate says that JW's are the worst. Can you settle it?

'achtung' Backs up everything he has to say with scriptures. Can you do the same?
I disagree wiht him when he says that Jehovah's Witnesses are not pushy or bossy - because I know that they are very capable of this, even to each other.
However imperfect flaws aside, what they believe is directly in accordance with the bible. They do not adopt the false, ancient teachings simply to 'fit' in with other religions because they are well aware that this is displeasing to the creator.
Jehovah's Witnesses are an organized, registered religion. They are made up of reasonable people - from 'every' race, and 'every' walk of life, but they will not turn their religion into a popularity contest just to conform to the masses - as so many other religions have done. That would clearly be a violation of pure worship.
A cult is a rude term. They are not that - if you take the time to enlighten yourself a little more, you will see that they are merely following bible principles and commandments,

The term "cult" is an insulting synonym for "religion"; some bigots abuse the term to marginalize a system of theology which they otherwise cannot intelligently challenge. Please do not use that term in polite conversation.
Because of the global reach of their preaching work, Jehovah's Witnesses hear such bigotry and rudeness too often. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

Your question is insulting to people of those religions.
I would guess that honestly you, nor anybody else who hasn't been a member of one or all of those cults, would know anything at all about them... not to mention which one is the least pleasant to be a member of.
I'm gonna say what ever cult you are a member of is probably the worst one to be associated with.

Hmm...I remember back in the mid-nineties when that one cult had a mass suicide in that big mansion in CA. Over one hundred people killed themselves (by drinking poison) believing they were going to be brought "home" on that asteroid or comet that passed by Earth's atmosphere. They all had purple clothes draped over them. What a bunch of gullible morons. At least the ones you mentioned above don't condone in killing yourself to fly on a comet. (At least not that I know of).
I imagine that would be the worst...if it's even still around today.

the periodic cults that appear and kill their members are the worst. look at the people's temple (approx. 1000 dead in Guyana in '78 and the millennium comet cult where everyone killed themselves to greet a spaceship behind a comet that was to take them away. these type of cults, whose leaders kill the members when they think the jig is up are surely the worst.
