Because God's will will always be done in decency and in order. God is faithful but He's also orderly. Any disorder, or disarray, is not of God, anything that goes against His word, is not of His will, because how can God go against His own word? He can't.

God's will never contradicts His Word. It comes to you in a quiet voice or intuitively. Any suggestion in your mind that seems to pressure you into action is NOT God's will. His is a gentle Spirit. After you take the decision..a lot of peace comes into your soul. When you pray you have joy over the issue. Then He always confirms His word to you from the mouth of two or three witnesses i.e. from a totally unexpected source you will hear a confirmation. If you are sensitive there is a way God talks to you even right now. God is constantly talking to us...He speaks through very many things, people, nature, sometimes a child will just blot out stuff totally unrelated to what is being discussed, or someone, whom you have not said a word to about what you're thinking, will give an advice or a comment that directly concerns what is on your mind. Whatever it is , it is ALWAYS in line with scriptures. The more scriptures you know the sharper your antenna in the spirit will be.

It is a fine line between knowing Gods will and your own will. I think the way I know is because I pray first and ask for an answer. Sometimes you can just feel it and other times things just fall into place. For example, I may pray for a new job where I have a better pay and get a better home for my children, in a better area. Soon I get offered a job in another state with equal pay but with great benifits...some things will just fall into place if you wait for an answer and don't try to block out what you dont want to hear. Make sure it's what he wants, not what you want.

Well, first we should know what the Will of God is to begin with. A reference can be found in Galatians 1:4. In this text, we can look at it saying that God's Will is to keep us from evil. God won't change people's decisions, but as long as the decisions you make have no evil intent, then you can say that you're within God's will. In 2nd Timothy 1:1, we see the statement of the promis of life being in Jesus Christ by the WIll of God. So this can back up the previous statement of God wanting to deliver us from evil.

God;s will is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2: 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Jesus Christ died on the cross for all man sins. It is His will that all believe that but we know that many do not even believe there is a God let alone do God's will. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

first bible test i.e. something unbiblical is def not God's will
second, peace of God
below is an excerpt of a sermon someone forwarded me.
There are times when I wish God will talk to me in an audible voice,"I want you to do this…” So much easier. No more doubts. No need for decision making. No need for seeking the counsel of friends and church leaders. No need to look for confirmation in the Bible. “Is that what you want me to do? Okay.” Of course, for many of us, when God calls, we are often not at home.
But God does not always lead us that way. Often He will leave us to make the decisions on our own. He provides the information for decision making in His Word, in the wise counsel of friends and more mature Christians, in circumstances and in the peace (shalom) of the inner witness of the Holy Spirit. Even as we made the decision and commit to it, we are never 100 %
sure that this is the correct decision. That this decision is God’s will.
No matter how many years you have been a Christian, how mature you are in Christ and how skilled you are in discernment, there is sometimes doubt. So be encouraged when you have doubts. You have lots of company. Finally, you need to launch forth in faith, trusting that you have made the right decision and trusting that even if you have made the wrong decision, God is there with you and He will help you to correct your mistakes if you continue to seek to obey Him. It is obedience that He seeks. God is more interested in your attitude toward Him than in what you do.

God's will is based in love. If what I'm doing is based in love, then I consider it God's will. If what I do is based in greed, envy, lust, etc., then I know for sure it's my will, not God's. I believe God's will for me is to give away what was freely given to me, which is the miracle of losing the desire to use drugs. I try to inspire others to do the same, and believe that's how I best follow God's will for my life.

Oh, that's a tough one. Sometimes I think I sense God's Will and it turns out to be that cheese burrito I had for lunch!
1) God will never give you a command that violates scripture.
2) God will never give you a command that forces you to sin.
3) God will never give you a command that forces someone else to sin.
Don't know if those are "axioms" but they make good rules to live by!

I think if you pray on it you may know. Sometimes we don't know right away. If you press into God, spend lots of time with him, you'll build a relationship that enables God to speak to you more clearly. You will also develop a keener sense of what God wants you to do. Hope this helps. God bless.

You should definately read the purpose driven life. This will help you find your answer. I know for me, I pray he makes his will known to me everyday. It's a relationship thing! The bible will bring alot of answers to you as well. The problem I had is not really understanding the bible. This is where a church family could be of great benefit. I know I used my pastor and other church members to help guide me on those answers. I will pray for you to find your answers. If you are apart of a church family, a pastor/priest (pending your religon) maybe can help you with your search as well.
