then who was Jesus praying to in the Garden of Gethsemane before being crucified and who also was he addressing on the cross when he said "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do" and also the statement "My God, My God, why have Thou forsaken me?"

Because if God is more powerful than Satan/Evil then how come he just didn't make sure he didn't get into the garden of eden? And how come he gave us the choice to sin or not? That would of saved a whole bunch of time and pain and suffering for his son Jesus, wouldn't you think? I know he wanted us to think for ourselves but if God made everything then he must have made the things that are considered sins right? So are we all vicitms of entrapment?

I am raising my daughters to be good Christian women who will do as God intended for their husbands, stay at home, raise the children, allow their husbands to be the head while they are the heart, be the child's first teacher, probably homeschool, clean the house, make meals, basically, be a wife and mother. My question is, is do men still find this attractive in a woman or do they think it is outdated and would prefer a working type who acts more like a man?

I'm always hearing about men wanting such women. I hope my daughters will be able to find good husbands in this crazy world. I just want to know if it is true or if society has changed so much that it is not so.

Why Christians ... why? Why do some Christians tell there children that there is a "Santa Claus" ... isn't that a lie? We expect our children not to lie but, we lie to them. We then expect them to believe in a God whom we can't see with a physical eyes. Yet, we expect a non-believing world to believe in Our God ... why? Oh, don't tell it's all in fun ... fun for the kids, right? How can we expect for anyone to listening and believe in us when we lie too. Santa Claus, tooth fairy, flying saucers/ aliens, monsters in the closets (Boogie monster) c'mon somebody answer this one.

i would like see if we can also agree on the fact that all humans know almost exactly the same.
We know how to open a box of butter, when we wanna put it on our bread, we know what is the most pleasant way to breath, where we have to scratch when our nose itches, how we have to say "well, gotta go", we know how to take our wallet out of our pocket when we wanna buy a book.

Sure one person buys the Bible, another the da Vinci Code, but the principle is the same, we all know almost the same things.
Some people know a few different things than others, but basicly we know all the same things.

can we agree on that?

Monotheism in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible:
The Lord our God is One Lord.
Trinitheism is not in the Bible but is defined: Three persons in one God with each being the one, as well as the three, and all three being one, finally.
Each can be seen as 4, and tthree times four equal twelve, with the big one added to the twelve, three come up as thirteen, the dreaded number 13.
Please help me solve this quizz.

I have my beliefs as far as why Christians are so heavily criticized in today's society. I'd like to know what other people think. I am not trying to bash Christians (as I am one myself) but at the same time this question is not meant for those to bash.

There are a lot of things that we know nothing about. Take for example the word "yearning".

what is yearning? what do we know about it? who invented yearning? is yearning genetic? do girls yearn more than boys? can babies yearn? can animals yearn? can every human being yearn equaly much, or can one person yearn more than another? is yearning infinite, or can we also sometimes say "i'm done yearning"? can flowers yearn for water or light? is yearning something that you can yearn for?

and there are so many things that we absolutely have no knowlegde of. Take, for example "in a hurry". Can animals be in a hurry? who invented it? etc, etc.

can we at least agree that we humans are such small objects in this univers that we almost know nothing ?

This is why I say the average person misinterprets the Bible. Lookit, lusting after someone and thinking they're hot is two different things. People keep mentioning how "If you look at someone it's the same as committing adultry!" or "If you hate someone, you're committing murder!" Well, You're wrong, and you want to be wrong which contaminates your entire philosophy. Observe.

If you Lust after a woman, you want to have sex with her out of wedlock. It is to say that you WANT to commit a sin, and if you thought you would be successful, you would. Therefore, WANTING TO COMMIT A SIN IS THE SAME AS SINNING!

If you think she's hot, You think she's hot. You don't nessessairily intend to ever follow up on the attraction. You may feel that based on their smell or appearance, sex with them might be nice, you might even think about what it might be like, BUT YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH THEM OUT OF WEDLOCK! You're either willing to wait or do without completely. This is no sin. Get it?

I believe in Tarot. Sometime ago got the cards Death and the moon as my immediate future, to me meaning change, chaos, and destruction. Over the following few months, my wife went with someone else, my little one got meningitis, my dad got cancer, and my mum got diagnosed with alzeimers and now hospitalised. Really could do with knowing what else is in store!!! Don't know which people to trust. Some are just after the money.

Jesus was crucified because his teachings were radically liberal. “Love your enemy. Turn the other cheek.” Stuff like that. Ultra liberal. Why do I keep hearing about “Conservative Christians? Can you be a Christian and yet reject all of Jesus teachings?

Many say that there is no God. Why? How can anyone truly believe in no GOD ... believe not in a creator? I see questions asked of people who want to know who created God. Why do you want to know? If you don't believe now, what would make you believe then? If someone tells you something or shows you proof you believe ... People lie all the time, I believe in God because HE has spared my life and saved me from my sins. I am set free. God does for the non-believer, also. But, just why don't you believe, really? I am not judging. I just won't to know reasons other than the same statements of "there is no proof" and "how could a God like your's let bad things happen?". I believe and always will. I rather believe now than to find out later I was all wrong. I think I'd feel out right stupid.
