Many say that there is no God. Why? How can anyone truly believe in no GOD ... believe not in a creator? I see questions asked of people who want to know who created God. Why do you want to know? If you don't believe now, what would make you believe then? If someone tells you something or shows you proof you believe ... People lie all the time, I believe in God because HE has spared my life and saved me from my sins. I am set free. God does for the non-believer, also. But, just why don't you believe, really? I am not judging. I just won't to know reasons other than the same statements of "there is no proof" and "how could a God like your's let bad things happen?". I believe and always will. I rather believe now than to find out later I was all wrong. I think I'd feel out right stupid.

The reason why they don't believe is because they have never experienced his greatness, and its ok, i mean as long we let them know thats the only way to salvation, then its up to them. I believe in God, because He has never let me down, I don't need to see him, but I have seen his greatness in my life. For the people that don't believe many times family members were taken away from them(death) or they had such a terrible up bringing, or they have different beliefs... only if u experience God in a personal level, will u actually believe he exist.. everyone can breath the bible on you, and preach u to death, but until u ask God to show you his existance u need to be ready and pay attention.

As a person who doesn't believe in your god, although I do believe in a Higher Power with a male and female division (God and Goddess), I have to say that there are probably as many reasons not to believe as to believe. If you don't have an inner feeling that there is a Higher Power of some sort, that would affect your belief. Also, many who are atheists look around and wonder why there is so much pain and suffering if there is an all-powerful being out there who created us, thus should be powerful enough to stop it. Why would a creator make such flawed species as humans, they might ask. My religion explains this, but sometimes it's hard for me to accept, too. I can understand those who question or don't believe.

Thank you for wording your question somewhat open-minded. I hope you don't mind if I respond the same way. You may not like or agree with what I'm going to say, and that's alright, but try to understand there are people who have these views. Be warned, this is a somewhat long answer, too. :)

The people who believe there is no "God".. that opinion is really of no consequence. What should matter is the "why" to that statement, and there are really many possibilities. Some have the view that because the Bible was written by man, translated, and re-translated numerous times throughout the centuries that it is not an accurate account by any means. It's like that game played with people in a circle where one person whispers something in the person's ear next to them and they whisper it to the next person; by the time it comes full circle, the phrase is completely distorted from what it originated as. This is one possibility, albeit my short version.

Another reason are those who believe in the scientific standards of creation. I'm not saying the evolution of man as in we were once apes, but the evolution of culture throughout thousands of years before the first religion was ever even conceived.

A third possibility is that if one were to actually research the history of religions, they would find that Christianity is by far one of the most recent. Those might say there is no God, but not actually mean it the way you might take it. Instead, they could possibly mean "What "god" was here first?" or "Where did "god" come from?". Those who see things by faith alone are often sometimes blind to facts and truths still around in our everyday lives.

I'm not saying that you should question your faith. Far from it. Instead, try to look at these people's opinions objectively and ask yourself why this person thinks this way. You will never be required to agree with them, but most will appreciate understanding rather than being condemned for not conforming to society. Some people simply need something greater than themselves to believe in, no matter what it might be.

Simple sentences should answer you questions....

Many people say there is no God because he has blinded them. Even atheists recognize that something drives natrual forces, they just don't see it as a deity.

You are in a deep delusion if you believe God saved you from your sins. Sin is not something you do, it's something you are. If you actually believe in God, the one the Hebrews worshipped, you'd know (or maybe not) that the Carnal Ordinances placed on Israel's heads were abolished with the life and death of the Messiah. Those rules and laws died with him. You know, ten commandments, etc. The only forgiveness our God can give you is to place his spirit within you. he does not judge you by your actions, as if you actually choose them.

And Finally, God *lets* nothing happen. He is the source, substance, limits and bounds of this entire universe, which means he himself is the very reason everything happens.

You won't exist to meet him. Only he exists..our consciencenesses are merely his will personified.

BTW...I know there is a God, and I know his name.

People don't believe because there hearts have hardened. They stopped producing fruit and then were removed from the branch. We all have a choice to believe in God, Jesus and the holy spirit for the spirit lives in all of us. Everyday I choose to believe in God cause I know that God believes in me. It is my duty to him to shine and touch those around me the best way I can. In this world filled with hate immorality and greed its a hard task to do. I find myself asking why god, now god, what if god, but I still try my best. If you ever ask a little child barely talking what heavens like he/she will answer and tell you all about it. We all believed at some point that I'm sure of because we all come from the maker.

The body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.

This "Xbox" game that God created is so believable that people forget WHO they are.... for awhile. The tangible experience can be distracting, especially if that is all you remember ever being.

Breathing causes temporary spiritual amnesia for some.... Jesus knows WHO he is and HOW this reality operates.

God doesn't forget WHO we are.... It's sort of like a giant game of "Hide and Seek".

The "proof" is staring back at people and most don't notice, until they do.

God is HOW you are able to recognize that body you are IN, when you look at your reflection.

It is physically impossible for people to SEE their OWN face, yet they recognize it no matter what.

And while they are looking at their face they don't notice they have never actually seen it. Just like most people imagine they are alone, when they are not.

God is all ways with us all...... God is LIFE/LOVE.

There's a special place in Hell for people who believe in God because they're afraid of the consequences.

Well, I think the idea of God scares some people, and rightfully so. After all, if there is a God, we may have to follow some of His rules. And if we have not followed them, there may indeed be a punishment. It can be a little scary if you don't know the truth. That's why it's so important to teach the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)!

It is very simple. God is a manmade creation; just like religion. I do not need to believe in some tale from ancient times to find beauty and happiness in my life. I find it a little sad that so many of you use these beliefs as a crutch to support yourselves. When you let religion go, you find that you can still walk just fine.
