God gave humans the gift of free choice, which explains how some of us have turned against Him. We are NOT puppets, but keep in mind that everything happens for a reason, including the murder of another.

God will take a human life away on judgement day if that person is not TRULY devoted to Him.

SoLIDUS almost had it right. God is the creator of all things. He is in all things and He did creat the devil. If you believe in Him then you have to believe that the Creator will take the creature back home with him not for jokes, but because it is best. There is an old saying that the old folks of the church say and it goes "God is not fair, he's just." As I'm sure you know, the devil was an angel. God created them for the sole purpose of carrying out his will. What separates us from them is we have a choice in serving him or not. If you don't believe that then you are saying that God looks at a baby and says "Cute kid. Too bad I'm gonna send it to hell". That doesn't seem like the same God that your speaking of. Free-will is not an illusion. God doesn't use smoke and mirrors. To believe that is to believe that God is a liar. He said in the New Testament he doesn't want any man to go to hell.

PREFACE: If you believe that there is a "God"...Please do not be a hypocrite. The idea behind God is that he is responsible for EVERYTHING. To say that he isn't is to say that something other than Him is responsible for something, which means God is not all-powerful.

Choice is an illusion God used to allow his creatures to be ignorant of his Omnipotence, Omnipresence and Omniscience. Free will is also an illusion. though we think we make the decisions, we do not. Every act is preordained. Because our minds are not made to understand things of spiritual nature, we forever (most of us anyway) will continue to doubt that there is an eternal creator responsible for everything in existence--including evil.

Yup. God made the devil. It's quite simple.

Death is a part of this creation for one reason--to show the frailty of everything within it. Only the Creator is everlasting. The method of death is inconsequential. Everything happens for a specific reason. Those who cause death willingly show the amount of ingorance one can have of the Creator. We are not ours to destroy. "Only the potter hath power over the clay" or something like that.

Does God control the life of a human? No. Such control would severely restrict or even nullify the choice he allows us to have. Has he taken lives? Yes, the Bible is full of examples. Does that mean every time someone dies, it is because God "took him" or killed him? No.

God is indeed in charge of human life. He gave the first breath, He can take it away.

God is ultimately in control, but out of His love for us doesn't force us to be puppets on strings - we can make our own decisions, as you know. He doesn't kill people, but God is greater than life, His decision is final.

I think that he created humans but don't control them. He lets them control their own life and he's just there to help them when needed.
