What do you do? I know you ask God to help you or give it to him, but what if you have done that and really meant it, but you still live with this sin, does God still forgive you?

In phone books, business cards, newspaper adds all have crosses fish scriptures or quoted verses. Do they really think they fool religious people into dealing with them? Is this respect for those symbols?

This must mean that if you were alive when Jesus was on Earth, that you would've hated him also. Jesus went all over going from house to house preaching about Jehovah God. Would you too have slammed the door in Jesus's face? Would you have constantly ridiculed him? Or would you have listened to what he had to say? Does the thought of not listening to Jesus if he were alive even cross your mind? I doubt anyone would want to admit to doing to Jesus what so many do to the witnesses today.

I don't have a problem with people who believe in God. That's their choice to make. For some reason, though, people seem to find it fun to judge me and tell me that I'm "eternally damned" and whatnot. I just simply don't understand why we can't all have our own beliefs.

58: Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."
59: So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. -The Holy Bible (John Chapter 8)

According to the Bible, if a baby dies for any reason, does it go to heaven?

If no, where does the baby go?

(No personal opinions please, I'm wondering what the Bible says)

Recently, I have talked to others about thier religions, and why they followed it. I have talked to many of different religions, but not Islam.

I do know bits about it, but most of it, not all, is prejudice bits, that I was raised on. I want to know the truth now. What are their beliefs, why they follow the religion. Etc.

Wouldn't you have the power to avoid pain and to raise yourself from the dead?

The Jesus story has him walking on water, healing the sick, making the blind see, and last but not least, raising at least 3 DEAD folks back to life.

Jesus, Christianity?

Think and answer, DO NOT PARROT OR QUOTE.

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Do Gods die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours of superhuman suffering was sacrificed?

What's the BIG deal?

David Blaine can do that on TV.

If you accept the Jesus story, would you also accept this one?

I gave all my money to Charity last Friday.

On Sunday, all the money was returned to me.

I sacrificed for charity. True or False?

Really, honestly serious question. Try to answer without getting into whether you think abortion should be legal or not. That's not what I'm asking and it's been argued to death here and everywhere else. Does an embryo have a soul? A fetus? Why or why not? If yes, what happens to the soul if the pregnancy is terminated? Does the Catholic Church, or any other church for that matter, have an official position on this?

1 Corinthians 11:34
And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

I know some let their children eat candy and gum in church, Do you think it right?

I am not talking about Infants baby that have to eat....

let's assume that you are this fine example of a Perfect Christian.

God tells you that the world sucks, he's gonna flood the place again, and you are asked to build an Ark, and collect all the animals in the world in pairs. How would you do it? Where would you start? How long would you need to study before you even knew the names of all the animals? Where would you get all those animals?

just wondering, because if this would happen, then i'm pretty sure that God will ask me, so i really could use some tips.

I like the idea of church as a gathering point for people to worship God and discuss their beleifs with people that beleive as they do. The problem I'm having is that an entire church is really basing their religion on how a single person (pastor, minister) interprets that religion and it's teachings. The Bible seems to get vauge at points and could be taken different ways. Now, if your led to beleive a certain way by pastor for 30 years, and he retires, what do you beleive when his replacement comes in and starts going a slightly different direction? All of a sudden your confused as to which is right, or worse, if either one of them was right at all. I'm not looking to stir the pot, so to speak, but this is why I havent been to church in quite a while.

Some Christians say it's ok to be gay or bisexual. But it's sin if they have a relationship with someone of the same sex. I know it says in the Bible it's a sin but like the Bible was written by men and edited. How do u know it was'nt written by someone who wasn't insired by God but just didn't like gay people? Really why is it wrong to carry out ur feelings if u like or are in love with someone even if there the same sex? Some people say like carrying out those feelings is a choice and thats wrong but why is it wrong. If u really love someone why is wrong to be with that person?
