According to the Bible, if a baby dies for any reason, does it go to heaven?

If no, where does the baby go?

(No personal opinions please, I'm wondering what the Bible says)

I hate it when answers contradict each-other. Some say the Bible mentions this subject, some say it doesn't. Some say babies go to heaven, some say babies are born with sin and go to hell. I guess it's just a matter of interpretation and personal opinion no matter what?

I see double standard from Christians in this regard. Because they believe that every one is born in sin of adam and eve. So the babies are sinner. no matter if the baby dies just after 1 day. he or she will be sinner becuase he or she has not accepted Christ as his saviour. so according to this logic. the baby should go to hell.

In islam, everyone is born sinless. there is no concept of original sin in islam. Islam makes sense in this regard. and if a baby dies, he or she will directly go to paradise.

hope this answers.

EDIT ************************

SORRY I FORGOT TO MENTION ONE THING/.

Regarding the concept of original sin, it is taught by the church. What the church teaches that Eve (pbuh), she tempted Adam pbuh to eat the forbidden food, and because of that humankind is born in Sin.

In Quran, the story of Adam and Eve is mentioned. But there is not a single verse in the Quran which puts the blame only on Eve pbuh. If you read the Quran 7:19-27, it says both of them disobeys Almighty God. Both of them repented and both of them was forgiven. The blame is put equally on both. There is not a single verse in the Quran which puts the blame only on Eve pbuh. But there is one verse in Quran which speaks about only Adam pbuh, i.e. Quran 20:121 says that Adam pbuh disobeys almighty God.
I am asking you a question that Did Eve and Adam peace be upon them ask me to eat the forbidden food? No. So how can I be held responsible. Its illogical! If they ask me and i have given them permission then i will be responsible.

According to the bible sin is not inherited.
EZEKIEL 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the sin of the father, neither shall the father bear the sin of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
EZEKIEL 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

If son shall not bear the sin of father, how can we be born in sin. What the church teaches that sin is inherited, is against the bible. Islam says that every child is born sinless.

DEUTERONOMY 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

When everyone dies they go to sleep, this is what the bible says.
Acts 7:60...1Corinthians 15:18...There are other scriptures telling us this. Also 1Corinthians 15:44 Tells us that we will be given a spiritual body after Resurrection of our death. 1Corinthians also tells us 15:51 that when Jesus comes and we are still alive in our natural bodies we will be changed and not fall asleep in death. No one has fallen asleep in death and rose to heaven except for Our Savior Jesus Christ. All others are asleep and they don't know anything (Acts 26:23). other scriptures Acts 2:8, John 11:11, John 3:13. Let God guide you into the truth (John 16:13). We are to live by every Word of God not by what man has said or done. So my friend this is what the Bible says. Love God and follow his commandments and God will help you understand if it is his will. Mankind has twisted the Word of God and it is will Satans help.

Hummm I see people are still spreading the false doctrine of original sin. Eze 18:19 “But you still ask, ‘Is the son guilty along with his father?’ No! The son did what was fair and right. He was careful to keep all of my rules. So you can be sure he will live... Ezekiel 18 is an extensive discussion that leads you to understand that a child is NOT guilty because its parents committed a sin, or its grandparents, ... or Adam & Eve.

Technically since everyone is born with original sin, and a baby or child doesn't have the chance to ask for forgiveness for that, they would go to hell. That is, if you believe in sin, heaven, or hell.

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The Scriptures do not make a distinction between a person's age when he/she dies. It does not specify where a baby would go.
