Or do circumstances change randomly?

I see good ineffectual people who pray and pray and things do not improve and there are achievers who do not pray at all.

Good fortune appears random and not related to a higher power. If anything it seems more related to a person's decisions and timing.

Praying seems more to keep a person calm - similar to a stress reducer like meditation.

And so, is it God at work or is it Chance?

How would man kind be liberated from sin without the death of Jesus? I believe Yuda the Escariot was created with a Mission to accomplish, to betray Jesus and cause His death. I believe we are all created with missions to accomplish on this earth, and we should not be answerable for them since God,not Satan, has powers to stop them.

I have recently been invited to attend a Muslim Wedding reception, and being of christian descent have little if any idea of the formalities and procedures.

I know male and female sit separately, but that is it.

Is there any expected dress code, headwear, shoes off etc?

What kind of gifts would be acceptable?

Can someone please enlighten me?

One can commit a sin, sincerely feel guilty for it, yet repeat it, only to feel guilty again. The sinning doesnt stop, but he 'realizes' it being wrong, and feels guilty for it too. His conscious tells him it is wrong, but his actions don't stop him. So if the only condition for sins to be forgiven is that he sincerely feel sorry for it, why would a person stop sinning?

Jesus said; " I am the way the truth and the light. No one comes to the father except trough me".

Please guys I don't want to censure other faiths. We all have the same God. I am very inquisitive and I would just like to reconcile other faiths' teaching from that of Jesus.

PEACE.

I'm a teenager who has recently lost my father. My friends are also going through tough times in their families. I know I sound like a moaning typical teen, but I am seriously doubting the existance of God. I go to a Catholic school, and I attend church, but I've nearly given up forcing myself into religion. Is that wrong?

.....or do you believe people should be more objective about the truth YOU believe? Is "your truth" SO pathetic that you're afraid to have it callenged (ie, all you can give is blow-off answers?), knowing it won't stand up to critisium? Do you get your feelings hurt, or do you have to avoid the challenges? Are you a coward, and incompetent about what you claim is true; Do you just follow the pack because you are?

Since i was a child, i was always sensitive to psychic phenomena, my dreams come true, i often have weird senses of deja-vu and i would like to know if there is a way to explore that realm in my mind and find out if i'm somewhat "gifted" or not.Any good suggestions on if and how i can do that?
