And don't quote from the bible because it's just a story book and don't question my beliefs as that will add nothing as it is irrelevant and it is your time to defend your beliefs and don't tell me it's faith because I want a reason not just because you blindly and unquestioningly agree with everything you are told by a man with a book in a church, and don't say how else could it be because just read a science book and you will see.

i mean, what was wrong with Thor, Zeus, Nemesis, Aether, Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Hera, Huitzilopochtli, Jóhonaa’éí, Atum, Ra, Ptah, etc, etc, etc that they didn't make it to be our current God ?

True story: I was at summer camp when I was a teenager and had two friends that had been raped some time ago, sarah and Kathy (fake names). Sarah went and told her parents that were working at the camp that summer about what had happened to her years ago with this man. She felt sooo much better the way her parents responded. Her secret was out and she was not judged. So Sarah came to Kathy while I was there and told Kathy that to feel better and let it go, she should come and tell and talk to HER parents as that is what helped her. Kathy didn't go and Sarah felt that she was messin up her life and her one chance and working it out.

Does this remind you of mondern day religion? It does to me..

I mean we are spirits on this earth for awhile. I thought religious people would get that. Life is a game, play by the rules, but enjoy the ride. I have had Christian people give me a shocked look or ask 'do you REALLY feel that?' if I make a sacriligious joke or just in general laugh at my problems instead of 'taking it to god'. I mean life is short, and if you really are just a spirit in a body for awhile, then just laugh at lifes quirks. So why are religious people often the serious ones that are so worried about others or themselves doing the 'wrong' thing? And why do they deny that they are serious, when I am the one that's having fun and at peace while they are the ones crying and repenting?

i saw two questions here in the religious section.
one was about that "yahoo allows us to typ the word masturbation correctly now". that question got a lot af answers like "freak, there are children here.."
the other question was about children's starvation in africa, poorness,etc. i didn't see any answers there referring to what kids might read.

so, quick poll, what is more bad for a child to know about:
A) masturbation, and that we can typ that word now
B) starvation, and that we let that happen

You're alone and laying on the floor, bleeding to death. You're far too weak to get up. There's a phone on the floor to the right of you, and the Bible to the left. You don't want to die. Do you:

A) Pick up your Bible and pray for god to heal you

B) Pick up the phone and call 911

After Jesus appeared to me..healing me of cancer...taking me up towards heaven..He has made me see all things so new and spiritual...the trees seem to have souls and need protection. The pets I have are precious and seem to breath out a soundless worship of God...like children who need my care...the earth seems to be my mother from which Jesus made my flesh....the moon radiates romantic light...and gathers those under it in its lovers spell...the sun is laughing...and singing the song of Heaven...the song of romance...of love for the Son of God....and humans are little divine children who are on their way home ...many who have lost their way....food on a table is so divinely beautiful...all its different colors make me realize this is a divine story we are living....and a candle and a bottle of sweet wine make it all complete...what a privelage to be alive and able to adore the King...King Jesus
