From Revalation. A brief once-over on the end-times:

Palestine and Russia attack Israel. But, a treaty will be signed.

After the treaty is signed by the Antichrist, there will be peace, followed by World War III, followed by a depression, followed by disease and malnutrition. The seven scrolls will be opened and the seven trumpets will sound (comets, locuses, etc).

Three and a half years from the signing of the treaty, the Antichrist will burst into the newly built third temple of Jerusalem and demand that he, along with his new, miraculous beast be praised. In this time of horror, he will claim the beast is god.

In order to weed out the "nonbelievers", the Antichrist will institute a new economic system, in which only those who wear the mark of the beast can buy or sell.

It is unlikely that this "mark of the beast" will be 666. Perhaps it will be a computer chip in pill form, so that you can be scanned like a barcode.

Anyhow, things get worse when the seven bowls of God's wrath are poured onto the World. One of the bowls of wrath includes a horrible disease for all those who took the mark of the beast (late side effect of the pill?).

Creepy, eh? But many will accept God in the end-times. It will be miraculous. We'll see shortly...

The mark 666 is a mistranslation from Greek. The number is supposed to be 616 and it was written about Nero Cesaer, a roman emperor who didn't like christians none. In the bible the mark of the beast and the antichrist are not in the same passage nor is the word antichrist even in the book of revelations. Antichrist was a term used for those who didn't believe in Jesus as the Christ. Has nothing to do with an evil politician here on earth.

What if your name adds up to 666, does that make you the Beast, not that alone; but many other qualifications.

The mark of the beast will be placed either in the hand or head of those who are left behind after the rapture of those who are born again thru Christ. This will be done so that everyone that is left behind can be identified by the anti-christ. If you refuse you will be killed.
