Hindus have never conquered, plundered or committed genocides on other peoples and they never will, primarily because the deeper values enshrined in the Sanatana Dharma are against such mindless violence and expansionism. At one level every true Hindu sees his/her self being one with the Universal Self .
At a more samsaric level, a Hindu also understands more than any other religionist in the world, the concept of a harmonious global society that should unite, prosper and live in peace. ‘lOkAsamastA sukhinO bhavantu’ and ‘vasudhaiva kuTumbakaM’ are not mere empty words spoken by Rsis a long long while ago.
Hindus consider that all paths are OK and lead to god , they are not interested in imposing theirs.

...........And Muslims wonder why people distrust their fidelity towards the country where they do live.!!! Talk about a fifth column.
As for Kashmeer , Kasmeer has become a Muslim majority due to forced conversion amnd continuous genocide. India is only defending Its territory.
The People talking about Kashmeer should realise that even after constant provocation (Within last moth terrorists have shot down more than 50 Hindus in the valley) Hindus are not retaliting agaist Muslims in rest of the country. Muslims are living peacefully without any fear in other states despite Hindus do not get same treatment in Muslim majority areas.
Annexation of Kashmeer to India was legal and according to International laws and tereaties. pakistan attcked and occupied half of it illegally. India had taken controle of a major area of Pakistan in retaliation but it retreated its army from the pakistani area at UN request. But UN could not make Pakistan to follow suit.
it is not a religious war. A large Muslim population of valley was either Sufi or Shia. Pakistan is Sunni dominated and both factions really not in love with each other. Sunni Shia riots are very common even in India where Shia have considerable population. Terrorists have destroyed Sufi shrines like Hazarat Bal, respected by both Hindus and Muslims.
Kashmeer is origin of major rivers Pakistan gets water from. Kashmeer had Gilgit and it was a strategical point.
Due to pakistani controle on Kashmeer China has made direct road to Pakistan. It has cut off rout of India to Afganistan . From Gilgit one could watch over India ,Afganistan, China, pakistan And off course at one time USSR.
It has nothing to do with Islam. That is just an excuse. Kashmeer in India is in much better condition than Pakistan occupied Kashmeer. In POK they have got terrorist training camp and natives do not even have right to vote.
The problem will never be solved because too many international players likle US and China too have their millitry interest in it.

Some people talking here about Kashmir are really ignorant in the GK.
Kashmir problems is that Pakistanis (muslims) attacked Kashmir and took over half of Kashmir. The 50% Kashmir with India is now their target. They have already killed most of the hindus there and are demanding this to be murged with pakistan.
India is defending its area naturally....
If defending yourself is also taken as attack...then i can only pity you and your brain
Hinduism is the Ultimate Truth and ultimate Truth does not need any conversion or increase in numbers...Truth prevails what ever happens

Oh, they did. When india and pakistan separated and people with different beliefs went where they wanted, each and every time when hindus and islams came close, they killed each other

i think hindus do i know they fight against pakistan my family is 4rm india but we belong to pakistan if u know wht i mean. hindus fight as far as i know.
