B. While it is important for everyone to learn about the horrible conditions that people are living in all around the world, a child should not have to worry about that. A child will only be a child once, and that time should be used to act like a kid and let the adults worry about the world's problems.
Option A is natural and while a child shouldn't be on the internet reading about either A or B, I think the natural idea is less hurtful.

You said it right in that last sentence!!,....starvation, and that we let it happen! Just what have you done to help feed the starving children of Africa?? As far as the word masturbation, most children can't read it, let alone know what it means. If their old enough to know what it it means, then their old enough to read it. As far as this site, I wouldn't let any child on here, until they reached 16 at least. The problem is, most parents don't know what their child is doing in cyberspace, until it's too late. I can see evidence of that in here, that's for sure. Beside's their not hearing anything here, their reading! Poor spelling, at that, too! As far as children reading about the starving that's going on in this world, I think it's good that they learn this. Children are very compassionate little people, and many adults can be led by a child. That old saying,..."out of the mouths of babe's", ring's true. I say, neither is bad with the right guidance.

Neither. Masturbation is natural and healthy and nearly all children do it, and starvation, though horrible, is something that kids can work to change (through school donation drives, etc.).
What's more important is the fact that if a child is on a website like this one, where child-inappropriate content does come up, the parents are obviously not bothering to monitor their kids on the internet. That's far more dangerous than a kid learning about self-satisfaction, considering how easy it would be for some sexual predator to contact the kid through Yahoo!.

The answer is "B" cause if a child has the resources to read something on the internet then chances are they know about masterbation but I don't think they would venture into a site looking to "feed the world" unless we put some sort of taboo or block on it!!! P. S. I think I spelled it wrong cause in the bigger picture who cares about gratification when there is so much other stuff worse in the world.

I don't think either is worse for a child to know about. Both are awkward conversations to have with a child, for different reasons. But, I try to answer every question they ask, honestly, and as age-appropriately as possible, not giving them more information than what they are asking for. I wouldn't let my kids on yahoo answers, just because I don't want someone being mean to them.

From the mouths of babes - maybe the fact that both show up give parents a chance to face the realities of life through the eyes of their children and given that perspective will be more aware of what is and isn't important!

good or bad.. depends on the elaboration of these topic that they might need.. basically.. they need to know anything.. the 1st one can be classifies as sex education and 2nd for their awareness.. for them to be thankful that they lived in this world without starvation.. furthermore.. this is all the truth.. or facts of the world.. it cant be hide..

I don't think that it's bad for a kid to know about either. Children who can read, and have questions should be able to talk with their parents about anything they read.

Why shouldn't they know that we're letting people die in Africa? Maybe they can do something about it
