Religion has been used as the justification for so much violence. But humans are naturally violent animals. Religion or no, we will always find something to squabble over.

Even if religion was gone, there would be something that war would be blamed on. There would be no end to war, in fact, there may be more wars. Without religion as a guiding light for many people, there would be little cause to treat other kindly.

There will probably still be some wars, but at least we won't kill each other over something so stupid as getting people to have a 'personal relationship' with an imaginary friend.
Currently a lot of wars are either rationalized by or are really about differences between imaginary mega-beings.I don't mind what imaginary being people want to worship, or even if they want to do what the imaginary being tells them.
It's when they try to pass laws to get ME to do what their imaginary friend tells them that I get resentful.

I doubt it.
I think that it is not the religion, but the people, that are restless and refuse to accept peace. I believe that until we are all morally perfect, and can forgive absolutely everything, including murder and genocide and other horrible things, and we are entirely flawless, we will never have peace.
I also believe that humans will never ever ever be perfect. We will never have peace.
I am also a Christian, so I believe in hope for peace through Christ. But this digresses from your question, so I won't continue unless asked.

If religion was gone then we will find just another reason why the others aren't as good as we are.
Religion is not the cause but only one justification we put on our innate problems of getting along with each other.

This is out of question that all religions go out.
If no religion is there, there is atheism.
Religion has nothing to do with war or fight.
As I know NO RELIGION ASKS ITS BELIEVERS TO HAVE FIGHT WITH OTHERS.
These are the followers who do by themselves. So Don't blame the religion but the people who misinterpret and act.

People start wars. They use religion, politics, money, race, land, insults and more as excuses. Take away all that, and they will start wars over whether red or blue is the better color.

Not all wars and strife are caused by religion. Human nature causes war and strife, and it will be far more difficult to change human nature than to stop practice of religions.

It's not about "religion" it's about a personal relationship with Christ.
