One can commit a sin, sincerely feel guilty for it, yet repeat it, only to feel guilty again. The sinning doesnt stop, but he 'realizes' it being wrong, and feels guilty for it too. His conscious tells him it is wrong, but his actions don't stop him. So if the only condition for sins to be forgiven is that he sincerely feel sorry for it, why would a person stop sinning?

Because GOD knows the difference between sincerety, and the lack thereof.

If you sincerely felt sorry for what sin you had committed. It would only seem good reason that you would try your hardest not to repeat that sin.

If you confessed your sin, in preparation for a repeat. You wouldn't have been sincere about forgivness, so the sin wouldn't have been forgiven in the first place.

That is a part of human nature, something that I believe every one of us deals with. However, a person can change they're behavior if they want to. Only if they truly want to can they stop a habit or behavior. Everyday we do things that we question, and everyday we tell ourselves that we need to change, but we will not change until we are ready to do so. No one can make you ready, only we ourselves can choose to be ready. When you are ready to stop whatever it is that concerns you, you will, but first you must decide to.
I don't know what you consider a sin, that word can mean many things to many people. People will judge you no matter how you live your life, it is horribly unfair, but true nevertheless. If you are not harming yourself or another person, then maybe you can try to not give yourself such a hard time. Religion is not the only thing you can turn to for guidance. Counseling can be helpful during this time in your life as well. Good luck.

Only a physical realization of ones sins being deadly to the extent of hellfire coupled with "mortifying the deeds of the flesh" and becoming "a separate people" will stop a person from sinning. But you must remember that just because you've commited yourself to a life as free from sin as possible doesn't mean Satan won't try to attack you in every conceivable way to get you to revert to your old ways. This is why prayer, study of God's Word, and communion with God in worship and fellowship is important to a healthy Christian lifestyle.

Confessions doesn't wipe away sins, but it helps the person not to repeat the same sin. to stop sinning one should stay in the rememberance of God and must have profound knowledge of Law of Karma(action).
The Law of Karma
The Law of Karma is equally unequivocal in the spiritual dimension. It states that ‘for every action on the spiritual plane there is an equal and opposite reaction’. This means that if happiness is given, happiness will be experienced in return and if sorrow is given, sorrow will be experienced in equal measure. In other words, whatever emotion I cause another to experience must ultimately become my own experience.

Confessing doesn't on it's own wipe sin away you have to repent and turn around that means you have to make a concentrated effort to try to stop repeating the sin, repeating it then feeling guilty might make you feel like you paid for your sin but that is not the way it works, Acts3:19 tells us the way to wipe away sins is to repent and turn around so that you get your sins blotted out, turning around would be to turn a different way chose a different path etc, so to repent is to sincerely regret your sin then instead of repeating it when you get close to repeating it pray for help in resisting the sin, God will help if you are sincere but the trick is to pray before you repeat it, for example if someone was a smoker like I was, they wanted to please God by not defiling their body and therefore quit smoking how would they get help from God, would it not be by praying to God for help when they get the desire to smoke, not have a smoke and then pray, because when you already give in to smoke or the sin it's too late to pray for help, if you know something to be wrong, then, you really need the desire to avoid it, and if you don't have the desire to do the right thing, then, you won't do the right thing , as you say the actions won't stop him, he has to action the stopping by his desire to stop sinning, if he does not develop that desire to stop sinning then he will just keep on sinning, and that will then be will full sinning which is worse in God's eyes, you are looking for something that will stop your sins miraculously, but you have to be the one to do that at least to put the effort in to try, you can't ask for forgiveness then go right back to the bad deed, and expect God to think you are genuinely sorry , because he knows your heart and where it is and he will not stop your sinning you have to do that with your action he will help you do that if you ask and then show him you are asking seriously, that you mean it, but he will not force you to do it, if he knows that you don't really want to, which he will, that you don't really want to stop,in which case you won't! Realising about it being wrong, and feeling guilty for it too does not make it OK, you have to take action to do something about it, and you can get help from God to do it if you ask for it but remember you have to want to do it, or it won't work.

It is an inside secret I could tell you but I would have to convert you.
The deal is that sin is mans nature and by accepting Christ He actually lives in side us and as we read and study he changes us from within. So we may still sin but we should do so less and less.By the way any thing that leads you from God is sin any thing that does not i lawful.
So even sin is not always the same thing for all and we are not supposed to do things in front of those who are weaker that would lead them to sin.Like drinking a mixed drink in front of an alcoholic.

There is only one sin that you can't be forgiven of and that is blaspheming of the holy ghost.
But my dad was a preacher and I do know that you just cant keep on committing the same sin and ask for forgiveness over and over again.Eventually God is going to say, "You know it's a sin, why do you keep on doing it?"
After that do you think you would deserve forgiveness?
I'd say it would probably come to a halt!

Confession never wipes away sin. Read the Bible. You have missed the major doctrine of Christianity.

Confession to a priest helps to discharge you for what you feel guilty, but the confession that wipes is the one that you make to the person you offended or to whom you are withholding something. Try it , of course you will have other problems but not this one.

The realization that this life is a classroom. Make the wrong choices and you'll never graduate. That is what reincarnation is about. Choose to be sharing, get rid of your ego and you'll be well on your way to being part of the solution instead of part of the problem.
