I much prefer the thermal lunchbox.
It is bigger, allowing for adult sized meals & snacks. If you are doing the "leftovers" thing you will have a hard time getting containers to fit into brown bags. If you work in one of those offices where there is a FOOD MOOCH (you know, one of those annoying people who takes things out of the fridge that don't belong to them), you can keep the lunchbox at your desk & your food will still stay cold.
Great for sneaking office supplies & company secrets out of the building. Someone might get suspicious if you took your brown bag home.

I guess it depends on how old you are. Children love to carry lunchboxes with cartoon type characters on them. Older kids like to use brown paper bags and lunch sacks. Also business type people probably dont do brown bags unless they have really bad habits like gambling therefore they need to brown bag it. Professionals probably go out to eat almost every day.

Lunchbox. You can put a little ice pack in it to keep your food cold. The moisture would destroy the paper bag.

lunchbox...i don't no about u but i like 2 drink pepsi with my lunch and if u hav a can o pepsi in ur brown bag the bag will break

brown bag, definately. Not only is the brown bag portable, but its disposable. therefore, you have more room in your bag for more important things after lunch. also, you can decorate a brown bag and make it more personal. just to show off your artistc side. =]

brown bag - you can write your name on it.
but a lunch box probably makes more sense bc it food leaks the lunch box does not get soggy.
why are you posting this in sprituality - this doesn't seem like a spiritual question? Explain.

dude use a lunchbox man, so you can keep cold stuff in it with ice, such as coke sandwich, leftovers to microwave, plus it don't lose tempurature or get smashed
