heyy!...i dunno how u thot up of this enitre assumption....but i admit that there is substance and conviction in what you say. everyone does have a purpose, greater than others that he/she is biding by. once you realize yours i guess it is your sole duty to carry it out, however many-a-times just finding out ur "JOB" as you expressed does'nt have to be of supreme importance. i personally believe that the journey to realization and self-actualisation is more significant and of much much greater consequence.

Your assumption is ... an assumption. You have no earthly idea what God's design is, or if there is even a God. What you are looking for is meaning to your own life in human terms. You think that you are an instrument of God; therefore, you want to act in ways that supposedly please God.

The problem is that your idea of God is so inflated with culture, history, and conservatism that you have no idea who God is or what she wants for you. When one focuses on death and an imaginary afterlife, one tends to lose perspective of here and now. Instead of asking about a "death Assumption", perhaps one should seek a "life assertion." Then maybe one's life will have a little more meaning. haha. good luck to you. -r

God's plan is there is no plan.
What if the only plan for people was to feed the worms when they die.
Yeah real good plan there.
I think we all should just realize that maybe god has forsaken us all.
And what happens to us happens. no plan.....no plan at all.
I think if people didn't believe in a plan...then maybe we all would realize that this is it...and make others and yourself as happy with your life as possible.

No one can know why He chooses to take some early (babies, children etc).

All we can know is that He has a plan, that His thoughts are above ours, His ways are not our ways and that all things work to the good of those that love the Lord.

But what if the job isn't done, or at least done to a degree to help us in the future?

And what work can a three-month old baby accomplish?
