I have been over this many times - I have a lesbian daughter and we have struggled to find answers - I am not a bible wiz but I have researched this area of interest.....This is solely my opinion here, no qoutes necessary.Sex out of wedlock is suppose to be the sin not homeosexuality. Even for couples of the opposite sex - according to christian belief you must be married before sex. - I guess when same sex marriages are finally legal some of this BS will go away but there is sure to be something else come up - bottom line is none of us on earth really know what it takes to get in to the kingdom of heaven - I tell my daughter to live her life, don't hurt anyone and try to help someone when she can - she will figure out the moral issues of her life - that is not up to me or anyone else - yes moral, not religious.

The Bible is our instruction. Romans 1:18-32 clearly marks the lust of homosexuality and why God gave them over to believe. They have twisted the truth into a lie.
Homosexuality carries consequences, just as any other sin.
Study the Word, you will see why sexual sin has greater consequences, whether it is same sex or not. Any sex outside of marriage has consequences.

In life, there are things that you may do that you think is right but according to the bible, is wrong. However, the thoughts of others aren't going to matter, who am I to judge u and who are u 2 judge me. It's a double road, so choose your road wisely, what u think is right may just be the devil's influence on u.

I also happen to have friends who are bisexual and they say that theres nothing wrong with carring out feelings, but just like a strait couple , do you want to see a guy and a girl on the street making out in public. I sure as hell don't. i have my own love life to deal with and don't need to feel discouraged about it by watchind a couple go all out.

The Bible makes refrences to homosexuality in many diffrent places. It even tells stories of homsexuals and incest. If they didn't like it, wouldn't they have left that part out too?
Its BIBLICALLY a sin. But I support it, and even have gay friends. I am a Christian, and by my view, its okay, but by the Bible, its not.

Check out the Lesbian & Gay Christian Movement's site, there is a section WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS about gays and their equal right to love and express their love physically just like anyone should.

Love in and of itself is not wrong. It depends on what kind of love it is. Men can be close friends, look at David and Jonathan from the old testament. They would have laid down their life to save the other.
However, the sexual union was created by God, and in the right context is a blessed act. This is marriage.
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
(Mat 19:4-6 KJV)
The Bible calls homosexual relations "vile affections"
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
(Rom 1:26-27 KJV)
Homosexuality in the succeeding verses after the above, is linked with many other sinful acts:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
(Rom 1:28-32 KJV)
That said, a Christian who claims its ok to want to engage in such acts but its not ok to engage in those acts is deceiving themselves. It is either all ok or its all wrong. And according to the bible, it is wrong.
We are humans, we have human nature. We are all tempted to do wrong sometimes, whether that is lying, cheating, murder, homosexuality, etc. Through Christ we can resist evil.
Jam 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
In fact, he promises the Christian that sin can be avoided:
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

when you have homosexual relationships it ruins the entire purpose of sex, which is to have kids. when people do that they have an easier chance of catching AIDS and that is their punishment. it is fine to love someone of your own sex. but why does that have to turn into sex. its just an easy way to die younger

It's just that many people don't really care to hear you gush on about your sex life, no matter who (or what) your partner is.
