i love god too and i want to know why people dont believe in god. They keep missing the signs and the proof. Everything u see is proof that God is real. Jesus died for us coz he loved us so much and yet people dont believe. Some people say that the bible is just some book however they believe that the false statements about jesus in the Davinci code by dan brown is real. I believe in him and u r not the only one that feels this way..!!
God bless u~~

I think people are entitled to believe what they want, however I don't think people should have a license to ridicule someone else's beliefs. I respect your belief in God and Jesus. Personally I don't believe in the Bible's account because it is a book that has gone through so many revisions by so many men throughout history (read about King James) that I don't trust the translations or editing, although there are many parts of the Bible I find beautiful, particularly the song of Solomon. I also find parts of other religions besides Christianity just as beautiful and just as sincere and valid.
I also think that humans have an inherent need to explain the unexplainable and from the beginning of time have come up with various ways to explain their existence. I would call myself an agnostic. I really don't know if there is a being out there greater than ourselves who created everyone and everything. I don't know if there's a heaven or hell or eternal life.
What I do know is that people should be kinder and more accepting of one another because I do believe in the law of "what goes around comes around."

Because, He/She/It?, does not exist. You think the bible is more than just a book? Come on. Two of each animal on one boat? Not a chance. Jesus as a savior? The divinity of Jesus was decide by vote at the Council of Nycea,by a bunch of money hungry old men 400 years after Jesus of Nazereth was crucified. There is no question that Jesus was a wise and thoughtful person, no question more people ought to follow his example. But son of god? No. If you need the crutch that is religion, good luck. But don't feel hurt by those that don't share your "pain."

Well in the bible it speaks of this very unbelief. Even in Jesus' day there were unbelievers and He was alive and walking and talking w/them. The real questions become why do u believe and how do u hold on to that? and How can u live ur life in such a way that reflects our Savior so that those who don't believe can begin to question u about ur testimony of the Savior. Hang in there and God Bless

Because there are too many idiots in the world, especially people that don't have anything to do that is more important than sitting at their computer showing the world how stupid they are. That's why. God is Real. Jesus is our Savior, and if someone doesn't want to believe that ,well, that's their stupid problem. I'm sure they will regret it when they spend eternity in the fires of HELL.

You can sort of equate your question to sports: how on earth can you not be for the Buffalo Bills? The other guy may say he's for the Miami Dolphins, or that he doesn't watch football at all.
Think about it. You might say, "Dude! How can you not like football and the Bills?" The question sounds exactly the same as "Dude! How can you not be Christian and believe in my God?"
If you assume everyone is Christian and believes as you do, you're in for a rude awakening when you learn that Christianity is a minor religion (in numbers of believers) compared to the major religions of the world.

I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ. - Ghandi
perhaps people are driven away by overzealous christians. others think the bible is an unreliable source, after all, there are many contradictions in it's pages, and does not prove the existence of god. in addition, it proves difficult to reconcile a loving, caring god with the existence of evil and suffering, and the unequal distribution of that evil and suffering.

According to the bible, when the Lord comes to take his children home, it is going to be a very small number.
I think about this every time I see a negative response or a challenge from an atheist. They do not affect my faith. I do feel sorry that they don't know how great it is to have the Lord in their lives or to feel his wonderful mercy and grace.
We are the blessed ones who know God.

There is no credible evidence that supports any of the bible stories, including the Jesus myths, so why would anyone believe in "Him?"
If God existed in fact, there would be no questions about his existence. It is obvious he does not exist by the fact his existence is questioned.
Believe what you will, but God & bible belief have no factual basis on which to believe.

i respect your beliefs whether i believe in them or not... but I look at things with logic... im agnostic im not saying i neither believe or disbelieve that god exists... but you should respect others views whether you believe that way or not... No one likes religion of any form shoved down their throat. and if you ask questions about religion you should expect views of others from many other religions and from many perspectives to express their opinion... No one can proove that god exists or doesnt exists there are only theories and the bible... just as their are theories and other things that disproove as well as proove about the existance of god. Let them decide for thereself and respect them for their decision, its okay to talk about what you believe in but you cant force others to believe... all you can do is have a good supporting arguement and hope that they absorb all the info and decide for theirselves... People who are judgemental and try to force others into beliefs really turn me and others off to religion. So if you care so much about others souls then you should find a different approach...
I hope that didnt sound to mean as I am trying to word this in a nice non conflicting way... if you do these things then you are no better than the neanderthals in the crusades who tried to use brute force to convert other nations into christianity... although your not that insane and you dont kill people over religion you still should think about your approach... If you try to force your religion on anyone its going to turn them off and your just distancing them further... Thats why I have some issues with christians, they claim to be followers of god but they dont follow his word. it says in the bible to judge not lest ye be judged and thats what you are doing you are judging them... thats being very hypocritical... dont look down on others because they cant see the way you believe... again sorry if this sounded mean but this is the truth and the way I view religion period...
