The most concise definition of God in islam is

"Say: He is God, The One and Only. "God, the Eternal, Absolute."He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]

1.Say, He is God, One and only.

God cannot be more than ONE because if there were many gods besides God, then there would not have been such order in the universe, and each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others. If there would have been many gods then each god would try to defeat others to establish his rule.

If they commit a sin such as killing someone during an episode where their minds are telling them that this is right. If they never have a chance to ask forgiveness, will they go to hell?

As the evolutionist wrestle with the " impossibilities " of God existing due to the improbabilities from science...I would ask you then...what if there is a Being ( God) who actually and simply transends all these laws and moves in and out of them freely since he created the very laws of physics and whatever...What if he simply is Lord of these laws and exists and moves without their restrictions ? So easy to see this...

Jesus gave some rather clear orders about helping others. What are some really good ways to help God's children?

There was an instance in Australia where two men fed hash cookies to two mormons who came and invaded their space. The greedy mormons at 13-16 cookies each. One even hallucinated.
The two men got jail time. Did they deserve it?

So it's been about 3 hours that I've sat here on Yahoo!Answers now, and I started to notice something. Questions regarding religion have the most answers by far, but some of them are the most uninformed. I'm not going to reveal my beliefs however. It seems that there are so many people that are so passionate about what they believe, yet so ignorant. Granted, there are those who really know what they are talking about and truly try to help the person asking the question, and I respect that, no matter what their religion. I guess my question is this: If you are passionate about what you believe and harass other people for not agreeing with you, why don't you really learn what your religion or lack there of is really about? Why don't you agree to disagree and leave it at that b/c chances are you won't change their mind, and they won't change yours?

To my knowledge anyway. Why don't people of other religions try to convert Christians, or insist that they're religion is best the way some Christians do?

I am a baptist christian, i have been baptisted twice, onces at birth, and once of my own choosing, and hope to be baptisted once more on my death bed. But i look out at fellow christians, and they are so hateful and spiteful of those who have not taken the same path as them. Just because someone has not accepted jesus into their lifes does not mean they should be abused, verbally or otherwise. And don't say it doesn't happen because it happens on this very site. Why can't a majority of christians be more accepting than rejecting? the girl i love, was afriad to tell me she was a wiccan because of how she has suffered at the hands of christians, she is a kind girl who didn't deserve that. Why must we as christians harm those around us just because of their faith? Do you all commend the crusades, a bloody war fought over land that could have easily been shared? Why do you hate people who are not like you? Why are people terrifed of Christian abuse now? What has happened to us, and why?

wouldn't you want someone to tell you that there is a literal lake of fire that unrepentant sinners are punished in forever and ever? If someone really cared about you, wouldn't they want to tell you that there is a way to escape that awful place?

I have read the Bible from cover to cover more than once and I know how the church decribes the trinity as being 1 god with three personalities but I think the Bible is saying something differently. From what I understand is that the Lord our God is one. Jesus is the son of God but not God. He makes this clear by praying to God continuously. When he was in the garden he asked God to remove "this bitter cup from me." He was afraid to die but in the end he told God, "Let YOUR will be done." Even on the cross he asked, "Father why have you forsaken me?" Jesus always made a difference between the two. Even when He said the father and he were one. He then went on to say that they dwell within each other and so can we. But there still is a distinction. And I believe that the Holy Spirit is the comforter. The spirit of God that dwells among us. Feel free to shed some light. Please give me Biblical answers not things you heard from church.
