The most concise definition of God in islam is
"Say: He is God, The One and Only. "God, the Eternal, Absolute."He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]
1.Say, He is God, One and only.
God cannot be more than ONE because if there were many gods besides God, then there would not have been such order in the universe, and each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others. If there would have been many gods then each god would try to defeat others to establish his rule.

2. God, the Eternal, Absolute
God has to be Eternal then otherwise He would have a beginning. Suppose, we say God had a beginning, then there was a time when God did not exist. It means that he needed somebody else to make him exist. So there is somebody else who is God, not him. but as we agreed that there is only one God, therefore, there is no one else who make Him exist. When we say that God cannot be born, we are also saying that a creator cannot becomes his creation, because creation means what is in need of a creator. To be a creature, mean there had to be someone to create you. So if God becomes his creation, it means now he is in need of a creator. And this is absudity! As we know, A creation is not eternal. An eternal being is uncreated. We can conclude that the one God who is uncreated, has to be Eternal.

3. "He begets not, nor is He begotten"
It follows by logical necessity that if God is one, and if He is eternal, Then obviously He does not beget , Nor is he begotten. Because if He beget, then He will have a child and the child will have to be God-like. So there will then be two Gods. Since we agreed that there is only one God, you cannot have two. OR If he was begotten, that means he would have father. Then the father will be older than him and more eternal than him. and we cannot have one who is more eternal than "ETERNAL"
4. And there is none like unto Him
means He is unique unlike that which He has created.

I think this is what the biasness is called as. Prejudice just lock the thinking power of mind. ok forget that i quoted from Quran. do you agree with this simple logic. Why not? i know why not. because people have so much hatred against quran that they even ignore their own mind. Its your choice whether you agree or disagree. you have the right . Its your life. but if you believe in bible, then this is what the bible says.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
THATS WHAT I HAVE DONE!
------REASON-------
Take care. Peace be onyou.

you asked >> Does this concept of God have anything to do with killing others?
Ofcourse Not! There is not a single teaching of islam , which is against the humanity as a whole.
In the light of Quran and saying of Prophet Muhammad pbuh, the act of inciting terror in the hearts of defenseless civilians, the wholesale destruction of buildings and properties, the bombing, maiming and torturing of innocent men, women and children, much like what is going on in parts of the world this very day, are all forbidden and detestable acts according to Islam and True Muslims.

This sounds rather straight foreword to me. Logical, consistent, no esoteric or convoluted ideas.
Does this concept of God have anything to do with killing others? If you cause no harm to others, I have no objection to your beliefs. The clarity and simplicity is appealing.
The thing that I do not like is all of the other stuff that requires interpretation by sicko religious leaders whether Muslim or Christian.

Why is it so hard to understand that One may also be three? Can you not have three facets on a diamond, without losing oneness? You really don't understand Christian doctrine on this matter very well. God the Father is the one you and we both worship, but we think you neglect other aspects of Him, that your understanding of Him is incomplete. Christ is His power, the Logos by which He spoke all things into existence, a power so great that even it has personhood. Christ is not in any way separate from God, except in the way that you can distinguish God from His power. Can you do that? Can you imagine a powerless God? I think not. The Holy Spirit is the part of Himself that God puts inside each human being. It's not separate from Him either, just a different aspect of Himself. The Trinity is a complex and difficult doctrine, but when talking about the Almighty that's exactly the kind of thing you ought to expect. If everything about Him were completely comprehensible to limited human minds, then I'd immediately think we were just making Him up. Besides which, Jesus claimed explicitly to be God, and what kind of answer can you make to that? Either He was lying (which seems unlikely, since He knew perfectly well that making such a claim would result in being executed for blasphemy). If not lying, then He might have been crazy, but that seems impossible to believe. He didn't talk like a crazy man. He might have been a demon, but that's unbelievable also- demons don't typically worship God with such singleminded devotion. Or, since everything else seems impossible, then perhaps He was exactly who He said He was, incredible as that might sound. I don't doubt that He really made the claim to being God, because that's what He was executed for, and ten of his twelve disciples went to their deaths rather than change their story on that point. (John died of old age, and Judas killed himself) Those are the actions of men who believe something deeply enough to stake their lives on it, and they knew Him personally for years. Politics had nothing to do with it- For almost three hundred years Christians were persecuted and murdered and fed to lions in Rome and burned at the stake with great regularity. There was no worldly advantage in becoming one- quite the opposite. And yet people did, sometimes at great personal cost. People don't do that, unless they think the thing they believe in is worth more than anything on earth.

That might be good for Islam, but Islam is not what God gave us as humans to follow. And I believe in one God manifested in the son and the spirit - just as I am one person manifested in spirit and flesh. I also agree that if there were many gods they would be warring - just look what humans do! But he did begat his only begotten son, which was made flesh of his Spirit that we might have a way to the only God and when Christ resurrected and ascended into heaven, we were given the spirit of God to indwell us so we would not be alone as followers of Christ - those having a personal relationship - not religious relationships - because all the religious relationships in the world did not die on the cross and offer the sacrifice needed to redeem our sins, only God in flesh did that. And there is none like unto him.

Your question, which is really a statement regarding the existance of GOD, is not bad. Quite interesting and shows you are doing quite a bit of thinking. However, considering that you took your source from the Qur'an, which while purported to be a holy book, was a plagarism of the Original Source Text, the Torah of the Hebrews. However, be that as it may, you have followed a good line of logic, and you are to be commended. Therefore, I would like to suggest that in order to complete your understanding of the Supreme Eternal Omnipotent Creator GOD, who alone is ONE...you might want to pursue more study in Torah. Torah.org might be of assist. Sincerely

The idea that morality must be based on the whims of a deity is illogical.
Surely an omniscient entity would have reasons for his beliefs. His ideas on morality should be taught based on those beliefs, not by simply demanding that they be followed because he said so.
Therefore, the existence of your almighty God is irrelevant. The ultimate truth is the same whether or not he exists.

What is the question?
I assume this is aimed at Christians.
Here is the answer I'm sure you have gotten, and will continue to get.
The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are ONE, not two, or three, just ONE.
I'm sorry you don't understand this.

You don't have a logical argument from my point of view. In order to believe that one would have to believe the Koran. I don't believe that way so I don't believe what that quotes says. That just isn't convincing evidence of anything from my point of view.
