Any scholar of Bible Study, can tell you that the New Testament of the Bible, is loaded with hundreds of inaccuracies, in addition, the Old Testament, King James Version, is likewise a result of several mistranslation, copiest and editorial censoring . The Bible that you might want to refer to as Most accurate will be the Original Hebrew Source Text, as the Jewish Orthodox has maintained that text virtually error free from its initial reception at Mt Sinai at the Word of God, to Moshe, for the past 3300 + years. ArtScroll Publishers has produced as good a English translation as can be expected,,in light of the problem of translating Hebrew to English, which always will lose some sense of the meanings in carryover From Hebrew to English. Come on, that's a very long list. lol . But, I'll give you one quick to think about.

After Cain killed Abel, there were only 3 humans on earth at that time : Adam, Eve, and Cain. The story goes Cain took a wife.

So Cain took his mother for wife?! Had sex with her?!

Is that accurate? lol

Oh yeah, one of my favorite, Revelation 7:1
The four corners of earth. Any educated person should know that earth ( round like orange) do not have corners.

there has been debate. there is an extended ending to mark (or it might be matthew; i forget). the apocrypha was included in the cannon until the protestant reformation. there's a gospel of thomas. i'm really hesitant to say this, because i know we put a lot of stock into the Bible, but i sometimes wonder if it was really intended to be "holy writ". not that it isn't accurate or helpful, just whether it's really "God's word"...personally, i put my faith in God, and i don't rely on a concrete source because he's an invisible God. that's a hard concept, i don't profess it to be valid, it's just my faith personally. there's still plenty of evidence in the bible, and otherwise; i'm not saying it makes christianity completely without evidence. just that, ultimately, to me, if you look for perfection on earth...well,

There are plenty and even more than hundred. i cannot quote all of them , here is just an example.

bible says Fouls have four feet
Leviticus 11:20 says All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

Which insect has got four feet? There is no fowl in the world, there is no insect in the world which has got four feet.

i find this an EVIDENT error in bible.

hope this answers

The entire Bible is accurate.

It's just that when I don't understand parts of it, I don't automatically - and arrogantly - assume the problem is the Bible.

I am humble enough to know it is me who lacks the Spiritual Understanding to interpret certain parts.

Jesus the name is vain and means nothing. He's name is Yahshua and that's the only name given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus was man made to mean nothing, Acts 4:12 DO NOTstates we can call him any name, or a translation or any name that refers to him. It say their is NONE other name under Heaven GIVIN among men.... Jesus did not exist when that scripture was written.

i dont think jesus christ is God or that he is the son of god. a smart and intelligent man with some great ideas. i dont think he took away the sins of the world or has the power to do that. i think only each and everyone of us has the power to rectify our mistakes. but do you mean in a more historical sense? i also saw a documentary today on how the old testiment didnt really go into detail about hell. but was added onto it to give more fear and get more converts. the imagery of hell was the result of Dante and his book 'dante's inferno...and blakes book 'paradise lost' that has brought the image of satan and hell into more focus.

Well, the parts about cleanliness and food preparation obviously had their place. But it's okay to eat pork now. Really. Trichnosis has been eradicated from the U.S. You could eat raw bacon 'till you oink and not get it.

I believe the whole thing is accurate, it doesn't mean I understand it all - but God's thoughts are not my thoughts and his ways are not my ways - so who am I too question what he gave us as his word.
