Are you getting something out of the messages? Do you feel you are getting the full potential of God when you go? If nom you need to seriously think about finding somewhere where you could answer yes!

Maybe you're prayer should be is it time your church found a new preacher. This is not to go around gossiping because it may be there's a speck in your eye allowing you to only focus on the log in his. I know this from a recent experience in my own life. I kept focusing on a long in my sister's eye but overlooked a speck in my eye. When it was finally revealed to me through the Holy spirit, I realized that I had some forgiveness to be seeking. It made a difference in a relationship that was going south. I had been deluded for a long time by this speck that was blinding me to see only her log. It was only after I removed my speck, that she realized she had a log. So I would recommend you take this one to the Lord and not yahoo!

Well the first thing to do is pray for him. Pray that he will be able to change is sermons into something that you can be able to walk out of the Church feeling like you can accomplish things in life through Jesus. So pray, pray, pray.

I know it may seem like its a thing everyone will say, like its a cliche, but you gotta understand that you have to have much faith that God can change and turn any situtation around. You gotta speak truth and not discouragement. Say things like, "the pastor is going to preach something new and uplifting". You gotta believe it! You live by faith and not by sight! Remember that! Ok! Aiite! God Bless!

examine the reason you attend church- are your needs being met there? do you think your presence can change anything or make things better? If you have no roots there, or feel any desire to fight to make your church what it should be, start looking for a new one. If you have other connections there besides the minister, you might want to stay. Sounds like a bummer, maybe you can talk to another member who could speak to your minister. good luck!

Of course. If you wanted to hear corny jokes, you'd go to some comedy club. This is church, and a good church is integral to spiritual development and welfare. Leave the church, and find yourself a good Bible believing church with members that can support you on your spiritual journey and a pastor who is focused on God and the well-being of his members

the same holy spirit is in every church. you cant run from him. just keep praying for your preacher. preachers run out of messages too. sometimes its good to know personal things about them. maybe those silly jokes and stories are for someone else right now. he will get back on track. could you think of really good things to preach about 2x a week or more for many many years???????????

If it is bugging you so much that you are getting nothing from the message, then yes I would change churches. But, if he's just old, give him a break, we'll all be there some day.

So many people look to their pastors to teach them what they need to know when it is already written in the bible. Don't focus on your preachers' unfocused mind, but rather focus yourself on training your mind to understand God's word by reading it yourself. It is quite clear and understandable to read

I,m a pastor
