I think this custom is inconvenient and outdated. It seems lately they keep adding more and more days to Daylight Time. Why don't we just choose that and stay on it?

Oh Camil--Graham Nash

Oh Camil, tell me how do you feel?
You fought for your country
for God and for war,
now your heart tells you that can't be real.
So you tell me your story from beginning to end
all the blood and the guts and the gore
will you tell all the people
'bout the people you killed,
not for God, but for country and war?

Oh! Camil, tell me what did you mother say,
when you left those people out in the fields,
rotting along with the hay?
Did you show her your medals?
Did you show her your guns?
Did you show her the ears that you wore?
Did you show her a picture of the people you killed
not for God, but for country and war?

Oh! Camil, tell me why are you in this place?
When you stood up for justice your country replied
by throwing it back in your face.
When you tell me your story
are you making amends for all of the hatred you saw?
Will you tell all the people about the people that cry out for God
not for country or war?

Why is it that young girls and teenagers are looking up to wh*res like paris hilton and sophie monk. People of this ilk have no class, theyre selfish, talentless and are without even a trace of common decency.
So what am I missing - why do people admire such people?

Seriously. Is there a point? Or do people just live for pleasure? Hedonism? IS that the point? To have as much fun as possible before you die? To leave the world a better place? To destroy as much as possible? lol.

What's the point in this , and what's specifically YOUR point in life?

Biologically there is no point. We're born by chance and luck, survive, and then eventually die. Our point biologically is just to sustain life and reproduce.

Spiritually, it's to try to reach nirvana or get to places like heaven/hell.

Modern life wise it's to get as much money as possible, and live as much as possible and get the most "toys," and have sex as much as possible, I don't know.

We've hit a strange era where we've modernized everything so much it's Jetsons-ville, minus the flying cars.

Is this a good thing? Well, the technology rocks but we still have ALL the downfalls of primitive humanity. Jealousy, hate, lust, greed, evil, etc. Same problems, newer toys.

I live in Montreal, Canada. One of the biggest problems of the image of the city is that too many people smoke here.

For some reason I think they believe it looks cool to smoke. I am not sure about this, so I need the opinion of people who smoke. Why do you smoke? Do you think it looks good? (I know it's an extremely addictive drug, I just want to know if this is another reason).

Personally I think it looks disgusting and smoking in general is quite unclean. I believe this is the opinion of most non-smokers, but I need your opinion as smokers.

Non-smokers are also invited to answer this question. Thanks!

people generally accept someone that's genuinely obnoxious or upset and irate as just as they are,who cares. But then look down on someone that fakes it or pretends to be friendly? is it that people are more accepting of people that are genuine regardless of how gruddy they can be but despise fake people?

Are there enough resources in the world to support the 6.5 billion people on this planet equally? Are some doomed to starvation because there simply isn't enough to go around and you must scrounge for what you have to survive? Ignoring your Anti-Communistic feelings and your perceptions of human nature, answer whether or not it is actually possible for everyone to live together happily.

I am 25 today.

I am still in college, still live at home (take care of a parent) still trying to lose weight (down 40, 60 more to go), learned a lot of life lessons and still looking for love.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT is that I now care about myself more than I do other ppl. I am not a doormat anymore, I am not THAT girl anymore. I am hopeful about my future.

I have been taking note of some really silly, ridiculous questions being asked. Some are just lame, others are "DUH" questions and some are just plain idiotic. I know some are asked just to be asking and to be humorous, but I mean "REALLY". Do you really know how stupid you look? Can you guys tell me why you do this? Are you really that stupid.

Basically I have a hobbie that I enjoy, but people call me weird for it, and this annoys me.

My wife is always taunting me, slapping me ect because of it.

What I do is I dress up as a cat and pose next to my real life cat and get people to take pictures. I have a collection of me next to lots of different types of cat. Simese, Tabby ect ect.
I use stick on whiskers and fur coats to look like a cat.

My question is, is my hobbie normal?

Each of my kids have their own computers and I had them sign a statement each saying that if they visited any explicit sites or chatted with anyone other than their friends on their contact lists then they forfeit their computers. Here is my question. Is it right of me to view their windows history and cookies to see which sites they visit? I don't read their emails in detail, but skim them to check for offensive material. I do this with their chat conversations as well. I skimmed my daughters and seen that she has been talking sexually to a way older man online. This stuff that they talk about is graphic to the core. I printed off a copy of this and put it in the filing cabinet. Is it right that I send this information to the police and take her computer away?
I was also thinking about continuing the conversation with myself posing as my kid and calling the police to set up a sting or something. What can I do to keep this monster from praying on other little kids?

Today, I was talking to a guy named Frankie. One thing he said I found quite odd. I happen to wear a lot of black and I like it very much. He said that anyone who likes black and wears a lot of black is "emo". How can people stereotype someone like this? So no matter who I am, if I like black and wear a lot of it, I am emo. Why do people stereotype others like this?

okay, so this guy I know on facebook sent me this email asking about what movies I like and then it somehow turned into talking about british movies and then he wrote this:

"How do you feel about British accents ?I´ve been told British accents go down very well in the USA.
I study English in my town - my teacher is a woman of British descent and she places special emphasis on my accent- which leans towards American English (because of the movies, I guess) Besides, I tend to use American words rather than British, -eg , diaper or sidewalk instead of nappy or pavement.
Anyway, I have an English friend who says i sound Irish (!)"

what would you reply to that?? especially the "How do you feel about British accents? I´ve been told British accents go down very well in the USA." part...I don't really know how to answer that :P

please no rude replies/comments
