It's more likely that we would be more hostile to them. Would you really want to visit a planet where the people hate and kill based on race and beliefs.

The probability of life elsewhere in the universe is quite low.
Our solar system has two giant planets, Jupiter and Saturn. These 2 have kept other objects from slamming into Earth. While it is very likely there are planets like Earth in the universe, finding one that has had the time to evolve as Earth has is very low.
Furthermore the distances are so vast that even if life had developed somewhere else it would take longer than we will exist for them to get here.

I am a true believer in extraterrestial life. I think you would find that some are friendly and others hostile, just like the people here on earth. The ones that have an interest on earth are probably losing life support on their planet and are looking for another place to go. I don't think they'd reveal theirselves to us, but just slowly merge. I think they could be benificial in curing diseases that we don't have cures for. I'd welcome them. If they can travel here they are more advanced than we are, and could help us out with a lot of things. I believe they are here, but the government wants to keep it a secret because they think we are stupid and would panic. They are the one's that are stupid.

they probably would not be so interested in us, well I think anyway, we wouldn't really have much to contribute to an e.t life form if you think about it. Well if we find a newer dumber e.t than we could help them, but if we found an older species, much wiser than we are we could possibly benefit from them, if we knew what they were talking about

if they have been around for less time than us there would be a higher chance they would be "rude" and "vicious" also they would be interested in us (probably) if they were around just barely longer than us, they would probably not be the kindest people around and would probably have a mild interest in us. If they have been around for a looooong looooooooooong time they would probably be very friendly but have no interest in earth what so ever.

I'm afraid I disagree with you. The probability of extra terrestrial life is extremely low. Cite your source, if you please.
I vote no interest, if there were any such thing.

I think that it may depend on where they are within their own evolutionary latter. If they are at the beginning stages then I would imagine that they would be very violent, just like us. If they have surpassed us beyond comprehension, then they may not be as violent or could see us as food because we are only as smart to them as pigs are to us.

If they have figured out space/time travel, they're not hostile.
They would be highly curious about other life-forms (us).
There are plenty of resources out there without earth.

Dunno.
But I'm pretty sure we've got enough problems with terrestrial illegal aliens right now.
Can't we put out the 'Closed for Renovations' sign and tell them to go home?

I believe if they were hostile, they would of already blown us up with something, so that leads me to believe that they are just watching us.
