people generally accept someone that's genuinely obnoxious or upset and irate as just as they are,who cares. But then look down on someone that fakes it or pretends to be friendly? is it that people are more accepting of people that are genuine regardless of how gruddy they can be but despise fake people?

WIth a genuine person you know where you stand.

With a faker, you can never be sure they won't change sides as soon as your back is turned.

i would say i hate both types, but as you pointed out, i would hate the faker more. Because I dont like being fooled (I dont think many people do), with someone who is real in their ineractions - though may be crude, will be better liked in my books than fakers.

There was this girl who visited my area once, and she looked like the shy, genuine, soft spoken, kind type of person (this was my own opinion of her), only to be told that she was literally sleeping around.... as a result I didn't bother making friends or pretending to be nice to her.

To answer your question, I would say people generally would rather genuine people to fakers, with that said..... i think some people would rather keep interactions in a superficial level - hence they would rather the faker than someone who is open about a circumstance.. depends what floats your boat.

I think people feel more vulnerable around fake people. With blunt honesty, you take things as they are, but with fakeness, you dont know what deceptions or pain could lie ahead. I think, in general, people like people that are similar to them, too.
