I live in Montreal, Canada. One of the biggest problems of the image of the city is that too many people smoke here.
For some reason I think they believe it looks cool to smoke. I am not sure about this, so I need the opinion of people who smoke. Why do you smoke? Do you think it looks good? (I know it's an extremely addictive drug, I just want to know if this is another reason).
Personally I think it looks disgusting and smoking in general is quite unclean. I believe this is the opinion of most non-smokers, but I need your opinion as smokers.

I think its very bad for your health, and for those around you also. My dad is a smoker, though he is trying to quit now that he knows about the health risks....
I think smoking is bad!!! I would never smoke, and dont understand why people do it. It DOESNT look cool, and it doesnt make you any tougher by smoking. Dont do it.

Other than the addiction thing, I believe many people use smoking as a ritual to deal with stress. Put a smoker under stress and the first thing they want is a cigarette. This also provides a convenient excuse not to try to quit-"I can't deal with the stress" (we do love our addictions).

they do merely no longer look cool to me simply by fact they scent so undesirable. And the smoke stink constantly seems to adhere in my hair and garments despite if i'm miles faraway from the smoker! What seems sexy to me is a healthful, truly buffed physique, casually or formally clothed yet looking gentle in despite they're donning.

not tobacco that is gross but it does look kind of cool in the movies but in real life it smells and I have yet to see a smoker look cool in real life,

If you already look cool, you look cool when you smoke. If you don't already look cool, you don't look cool when you smoke. In short, smoking has no effect on whether a person looks cool.

i think it looks cool if your adolecent and curious or if you have left-out issues. i think its more of a why did you start smoking than a why do you smoke
