recently my cuzin has died, he shot himself cuz he was under deppresion and he had brain cancer but anyway my mom is very upset about it, as am i but my mom grew up with him so she is really really sad but my question is how do i cheer her up i mean i kno that sounds impossible after sum1 has died but there has 2 b sum way to i hav tryed 2 but could sum1 giv me sum advice on this............thank u

gets him thrown off the air while a black man can say or whatever he feels like to make fun of a white man. I am soooo tired of all the racist jibberish. Having said that is it not WRONG to pull the white man off the air and let the black man go forwad with his racisim because his great grand parents suffered slavery at the hands of the white man?

When will we as a nationsee that ALL racisim is wrong. When will we become the color blind nation we profess to be?

WHy do we make fun when a black man does it but verbally castrate a white man for his lack of judgement?

When will we put the black man up to the same standards we hold the white man to?

I say everyone should be held liable for racist remarks no matter what color you are. If you fire one fire them all!

Do you feel the same or do you feel the white man deserves it beause he was born in that color skin?

i live in an affluent area of connecticut which is predominantly white. my friend is african american and quite well to do; both parents are graduates of brown and cornell, have leading jobs and are very smart.
yet, she makes claims that she's "rlly tan right now but my skin is actually as pale as yours," and that she is "mostly scottish." this obviously is not true, as she clearly is not just tanned, God gave her dark skin just like he gave me really pale skin. why does she make these claims? what makes her want to convince me and others that she is not really african american? can some one explain?

I've noticed a while back ago that Hollywood does not really have much Asian people on their red carpets. When Hollywood does bring up Asian people, they have them as fighters and such. One Asian I can think of is Brenda Song. I don't know about the rest. I have a few friends that agree with me (they agree with me, and they're white). What are your takes on this? Serious answers only please, no discriminating comments. Thanks.

By the way, just incase any of you take this offensively somehow, I am not making this as a racial remark to Hollywood picking more of a certain race. I'm not saying that it's not good that a single race is getting much of Hollywood while others don't. It's great that a lot of people are in Hollywood, but we need more of other races. Please tell me what you think. Thanks again. =)

I want honest answers, I want answers that say more than yes or no. I want you to explain why you think it will or wont be around. I will tell you why I am asking this.

I was sitting at home today and was on the floor wrapping my pennies,( laugh at me all you want i honestly dont care but when money is tight, hey an extra dollar here and there helps.) and I actually thought about this for a while. Our society today, other than a select few and elderly rarely use anything smaller than a dime. If one drops in the parking lot at wal-mart they dont bother picking it up.

So I ask you, will the penny still be around come 10, 20, 30 years? Will change still be around?

I feel that change still will be around but it will be converted into something larger..instead of having dimes or pennies, we will have a bigger coin worth 40 cents and it would just go up from there.

How do you feel about this. Remember, honest answers and please explain yourself.

I think there should be a rules-of-the-road policy in place that people looking for factual answers should favor heavily the first person that responds correctly. Each time I browse around here I continually notice a question looking for a factual response continues to get verbatim answers 2 days after it's been responded to!!! Is it just me or is this incredibly annoying? When you select a question to answer it indicates how many answers it already has, so if someone is asking what's 2+2, and you see it has 28 answers, what are you thinking responding here with 4? The only logical conclusion here is that you're fishing for points, Right?!?! You're thinking, 'maybe, if I answer 4 and then make a funny comment, or say have a nice day, I'll get the bonus points!!' what other logical conlusion is there for this behaviour.

Can someone please explain why this happens so frequently !!!!

Dog the Bounty Hunter was recently caught saying racist remarks and personally I don't like his remarks but to be honest I really don't care , the mans a racist - who isn't this week ? Anyway I have never watched his show and have no interest in watching his show but lets be honest - this racist stuff gets out of hand and people eat it up . Personally I feel racism will never end in America or around the world and this partly contributes to why . People should just drop the issue of race and move on . Just my own opinion .
