Hi, I am 16, and I am in Grade 10 and a guy, and I listen to Femme Metal (metal with female vocals like Nightwish, After Forever, Epica, Tristania, etc...). Over the years, I noticed that at my high school, that no guy listens to female vocals and and 95% of the girls don't either. A lot of guys have said to to me "only guys can do Metal, not girls". Which really pissed me off, and this applies to EVERY single guy at my school. Is this ever going to stop? Why is it happening? Why can't these guys admit that they are sexist?

I don't mind if people don't like the genre of music. But to to make fun of it just because there is a different kind of vocal in it? I mean, some people in my school don't like music with screaming in it, but they will admit it nicely. But whenever I ask ANYBODY if they like female vocals (even girls), they go into this huge "spazz", and say "EWWW" or "are you gay?!".

It just doesn't make sense to me.

Eliminate the cross, or maybe have a cross and muslim crescent with it, side by side? Wouldn't that be more inclusive?

i was reading a question about hitler and the responses to the question.
the question was " if u could go back in time and stop him b4 he did the things he did, could you?"

some ppl answered they would.
but most said they wouldnt because it would change the world in many many ways.
they said some ppl wouldnt be born if he would of been stopped. but how would ppl have not been born? wouldnt more be born? from saving so many ppls lives?
but i mean i know it would change the history but who cares??
i mean it still matters. but so many jews died from hitlers ****. millions.
children. teenagers. babies!! so wouldnt u rather save these helpless little kids?? i mean i was looking at a picture of prisoners that were sent to auschwitz. there were about 7 kids there. they looked so sad and it made me wanna cry thinking they died and didnt have a chance to live their lives!!

so what do u think?

Almost every person I meet claims that their kid has ADHD!!! I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. If your kid is being bad then they need a good whack on the behind, not a trip to the dr. to get drugs to turn them into a walking zombie... Yeah, no wonder they behave... have you ever had a dose of downers stong enough to put you outside of your own body?!?! I'm sure there really is such a thing as ADHD... but maybe just like 1 in 100 kids or even 1000.... not 1 out of 2 kids.... I think parents are just lazy and don't disipline thier kids. If you have 6 kids and 5 of them are on meds then maybe you should stop reproducing if you aren't going to create a useful member of society. If you look around the world today at all the idiotic kids you need to think to yourself... man, these kids are the future of our world. Does anyone else feel the same way.... I know there's going to be alot of pill pushing haters here but maybe it'll make you think before giving your kid that pill in the morning.

I never heard of him in school or anywhere else. Heard a lot about Martin Luther King, though. The thing of it is, Medgar Evers probably did as much, or maybe even more for African Americans than M.L.K. did. Martin Luther King pretty much took over where Medgar Evers left off. Medgar started the NAACP in Mississippi and did a hell of a lot for getting schools in the area integrated and for securing the vote for his people. He was a great man. He gave his life to bringing about change in the deep south only to die from a sniper's bullet. Why don't we find his name in the history books? I don't get it.

But why do USA goes after china and pakistanis who are enemies, chinese want to dominate USA all the time, Pakis get money from USA government to work against Al qaeda but pakis secretly work against USA, many CIA and British,NATO leaders have confirmed pakistanis work against USA.
On the other hand India is Biggest Democracy and most secular country and in its 10000 year history has never invaded other country wants US friendship but US government ignores it.

Byron Perkins is a fugitive, a convicted bank robber and drug dealer who was imprisoned, awaiting his next trial which would determine his fate under the law. He was also a father, of a boy Destin who had been suffering from kidney failure. Last year, Byron pleaded before the judge to led him to donate his kidney to his already diagnosed son (the mother's kidney didn't match). The judge granted him temporary leave to do this, but when the day to do the transplant came, he took off with his girlfriend to Mexico and is still being pursued by the U.S. Marshalls. Destin got a kidney last September, so he's doing great now. Many people have been emotionally moved since this incident occured...what a sensation. HIgh i am a 17 year old student that has alot of thoughts that go through my mind but everytime i start to express the way i feel some adults are quick to shot me down and say that i dont know what i am talking about. Now there are soem adults that do listen to what youth say and understand our opinions. im not asking that adults agree with us i just want to know why they don't listen. if we are suppose to be the future don't you think that you should know how the future generation thinks. thanks.

It seems that every pop up on the net advertises dating and there's the tag line of 'no strings fun'.
Gone are the days of romantic meals and replaced with clandestine meetings for mutual gratification, fair enough for two consenting adults but does it breed an unhealthy image for the younger generation in a society already plagued with so many unwanted and unplanned teenage pregnancies?
