Why is it at Christmas people go mad with everything? The supermarket is closed for only two days, but yet most people shop as if there is going to be a nuclear war! If you go to the supermarket on Christmas eve there's some bird who wants to fight you for the last loaf of bread and the last pint of milk! There's never anything on the shelves! Anyone else noticed this?

Do you believe that the argument for reparations is warranted? Are the descendants of slaves entitled to any kind financial recompense that was earned by their predecessors?

We made language. Somebody developed words like Monday, tuesday...sunday.

Then we developed numbers and with the help of numbers, we made years like 1456, 1766, 1989, 2006....

We know sunrise and sunset but again with the help of numbers, we made time..1:00 a.m, 3:00 a.m, 17:30 P.M

We made dates with the help of numbers- 22nd, 26th, 3rd...

We developed months with the help of language- Jan, March, May, Nov....

At every stage, we try to give life a 'meaning'. We forced ourself to develop a meaningful purpose by inventing numbers, dates, months, years etc. But by default, life is meaningless.

Sunrise happens and then sunset. We came here randomly when sperm met egg and die randomly in terrorist attack, accidents. How can be there a meaning to life when we get layoff from work on one fine day ?

We have forced ourself to make life meaningful but at every point of time with disaster, floods, attacks or diseases nature have proved everything is random and meaningless.

I did have 2 relationships in the past so far, but somehow was not comfortable with sex before marriage. And before somebody's comic timing runs out, that's not the reason my relationships ended. I just have too many scruples I guess. I am not looking into anybody at the moment. I want to get established in my career first and need 2-3 years more I guess to be comfortable about approaching women again.

Once I went so desperate, that I went out and brought home a hooker. But, suddenly I felt like it was so CHEAP thing - I just paid her up and sent her off.

Of course, I am all in favor of marrying a girl and sex is like a celebration and just can't sleep with anybody.

My question is: would you consider remaining virgin till you find somebody fit enough to be your lifemate? It takes time I guess, but isn't it worth waiting? Is it cool to be virgin? Is it all that big a deal to get laid? I am sometimes in dilemma.

At times I am scared at how little some people know about other cultures or countries!

Is it that bad for our children to learn world geography, world literature and world history?

Is it enough just to learn about your own culture?

I ask this, because on many occasions when I tell people I'm from Mexico, their first reaction is... where in New Mexico? or... Wow! Nice and warm there.. (not all of Mexico is on the beach)...

oh dear, and here i thought the x-factor was all about talent, which leona has, but that syruppy ray appears to be lacking (severely). my vote is still with leona...she has the superior voice and with enough training she will inevitably improve on her stage presents. but ray? i have heard better voices at kareokes.

I asked a question earlier and described a common misconception about black women. Some people responded, accusing me of believing in the stereotype when it was quite obvious I hated the stereotype.
Are people really so thoughtless and unable to think beyond what they WANT to see? Or is it just the good old Internet?

Who would you say is more sophisticated between Jimmy and Kelly?

For example Kelly works at a public relations company and she owns a condo overlooking a huge lake and she lives in a big city, Kelly also owns a really nice car (a 2005 Acura TL) and she does alot of traveling with her job and she owns alot of nice clothes and has a ton of high class friends, plus Kelly can be a bit on the snobby and stuck up side.

Jimmy on the other hand is a small town boy who works at a department store and he still lives with his parents and Jimmy owns a 1977 Buick LeSabre, Jimmy is a hard working reliable employee who lives his life on a day by day basis and he is one of the most easygoing guys who you can get along with who is a bit on the carefree side, Jimmy likes good classic rock music and he is a big fan of automobiles and trains?

Both Jimmy and Kelly are in their mid 20s

I personally think that Jimmy is the better of the two.

When a serious question is asked...few respond, but when you get one about the state of being for someone's a-s-s, then we get a bunch of poets filled with inspiration.
