That we have the right NOT to be offended? Offenses come all the time. How we handle those offenses is what builds character. So when did Americans get the idea that we have the right not to be offended? When did we decide that we'll scream injustice every time someone says something to us that we don't like?

I'm a white christian male, I'm offended all the time! I'm constantly told that I'm racist, sexist, and intolerant simply because of the demographic I'm apart of.

Do you think society has become too sensitive?

ok whats the deal, was she caught drinking underage and expirementing with drugs? Or did she hawk the crown for beer and coke money? I dont understand what the big deal is, if she is doing the same thing as 99% of all 20 year olds have done, harmless expirementing then why is she going to re-hab with the hope of recovery. Or is the truth really that she was showing up with a double snoot-full and powder on her nose?

I see online or offline many close minded, very bigoted people who are generally older than others. Most open minded and liberal people are younger.
What do you think, are my observations right or wrong?

No mentions of bands or genres or anything, please--just what someone who'd never met you would know about you after listening to your iPod.

For example, my iPod says I went to high school in the 90's and have trouble moving on.

Your IQ score is just a measure of how well you can do a certain test. Everybody who has ever run a marathon is happy to state their time, no matter how slow, but there seems to be a stigma about stating your IQ. BTW, I think mine is about 140. I'm cool with that.

Sometimes I answer from my heart; only to find that the question I have answered was a taunt from an emotionally dysfunctional and mentally deficient moron... Is it worth the effort?

we all know that there may be a hundreds of the same shoes but the one we have bought is ours. We can also buy the same car, book, jeans, computer and many, many other things. It is not important that there are many others equal products because what is ours is ours.
Therefore, when we watch TV or go to movie, we are just one of many. but, anyway, the information from TV, CD or movie became ours because we have bought that.
will you enjoy the movie or song or video because you like it and you have honestly paid for that or you will worry that so many others people are having the same experience?
so, if you buy the excellent Japanese or USA car, like Toyota or Ford, will you enjoy or your will cry in frustration that also many others have the same model?

I have a neighbor who is very poor. She makes just enough money to not be eligible for any sort of government help. I've watched her pretty much 'melt', body wise. I've taken to giving her boxes of food, left on her doorstep, without her knowing who did it. Is there anything else I can do to help her? I'm afraid she's going to die on me from malnutrition. What should I do?
