The best thing was when the man I love(d) broke up with me because it really made me grow up and come out of my shell.
I believe that it was real love and I'm not sure if I'm over it but I'm glad that it made me mature.

Denise, you are fabulous for asking this question. Not because it allows one to answer and reflect on the year, but because it is a simple question that is interesting and not "bashing" anyone else! Thank you.
The best thing that happened to me in the year 2006 is that I married my husband - went to his country, Morocco, and had the best experience of my life! My three week trip produced over 500 pics of a culture I'd only read about and was able to experience. It was definitely an exciting trip! The best experience ever! This coming from a woman who said she would never marry again. :)

I separated from wife number two then meet and moved to America with my current Girlfriend. It's a funny old world. Hey, You know the year's not done yet; me and Sweetie played the lottery last night and I feel really different today. I wonder?

I was named employee of the year by 45 people in my shop.
That was a big surprise and I am still smiling. I am also 74!
