American women aren't submissive because we've grown up without the "be submissive, be good to your husband, be a good housewife, etc" beaten into our minds.

Well im part japanese and indian but Im also half american, and in Japan they have different rules and so does India. In America we act alot differnt than Forgin Countrys. And some American women can act like that but some dont. They were brought up and grew up being submissive and feminine like. In America we just go to Etiqute School.

Many are. Ever seen a woman with inch long acrylic nails? Why get them unless to say I am submissive, oh handsome and strong men, so I have rendered myself unable to function properly with out your support. Same thing with high heeled shoes. Oh, no sir, I would never leave you. I mean, with these shoes I can barely walk at an average pace, much less get away from you were you to decide I was getting uppity and need a swift smack to the face.
And I am sure there are plenty of Japanese and Indian women out there ready to give you a swift kick to the nuts for this ignorant and insulting question.

its the way they are brought up. As an Asian mix European, i know the way i am suppose to be from both cultures. The Asian people want women to be cooks and be like feminine women. While the Americans think that Women have the same right as man and should not be under them. By the way some Asian are not feminine at all.

Asian women (not just Japanese or Indians) are traditionally submissive because its part of their culture to obey men, particularly their husbands.
Most Westerners (not just Americans), due to their economic advancement, tend to lose values and set aside cultures.
Biblically speaking, God made women to be submissive to Men (not in a bad way, you pervert!)

Because submissiveness is not a part of the American culture, thank God.....and feminine of course we are, and if not, we can be if we choose....that's the beauty of being an American, we get to choose....

you're wrong. Japanese woman aren't as submissive as you think (in fact, they seem closer to European women), and Indian society is becoming more and more progressive.
it's American woman, IMO, that still like to stick to traditional values.

They arnt brout up in the same society.They r brout up in a different sociey on the anme of feminism..
They cnt b submissive cus in the enovo they live in makes thm feel degraded if they bcme submissive..they r happy for whta they r..they dnt feeel any prob in beeing like tht.

I agree that alot of women should be a little more "wifey" but they shouldnt be submissive like you said. It would make me proud to see my wife accell in something. Some of the smartest people in today's society are women.
