I think they should. I think the test for citizenship should only be given in English. Look at southern Florida and southern California. If you go to many places in these areas you have to speak Spanish to function. These immigrants show no respect to the customs and history of those of us in the USA. If people of their country had done the work and made the sacrifices to make their country better in the past like Americans have then their country’s would not be such s**t holes. They now want to come here but want to keep their culture. Well, that culture has lead to their countries being such poverty and crime ridden places that they need to move. They should at least have enough respect for a superior people and culture to try to fit into our ways.

My boyfriends son is emotionally disabled and has learning difficulties. He is 12 but is more like a 7 or 8 year old.BF is WAY too permissive with him, letting him watch R rated movies, play M rated games, and listen to music with "parental advisory" on the album cover. The kid can also be quite rude and disrespectful to me...my BF expects me to put up with it to a certain extent because the kid"has problems" and that I should even let him move in with us(I own the house) so he can "work with him" Also, I remember in my high school Spanish class.A mentally challenged girl in my class who constantly talk out out of turn, to herself and others. It was VERY distracting and the teacher ignored her. Once she did this during a big important test. The teacher stepped out of the room for a minute, the girl (whose father was on the board of ed) began laughing very loudly and talking not even making sense. I turned around and said SHHHHH!!! I was about 15 and my parents grounded me if I didint do

Is it just not the same anymore?
for instance when I was a small child we had very little for choice of what to have for christmas I remember once getting a slinky and appreciating it my brother got a game where you had to flick frogs and try to make them land in a bowl/saucer. and for a joint prezzie we got that fantastic game mouse trap and some sweets and that was it. and as a gift to our mum we gave her a framed photo of her beloved dog copper.(we weren't members of the aristocracy as you may have guessed) in fact we were quite poor. nowadays tho television seems to do it's very best to belittle you into buying as much as possible for your kids and if you dont they behave like a degenerate until you rush off out and buy the most expensive battery operated remote control car just so they can chase the cat round the room with it forcing poor kitty to climb the curtains!

whatever happened to a nice christmas where the family having a good time and being together really mattered?

Of others? Of people asking questions, even though they may have been asked before? When I was growing up, I learned from a very well educated and well respected teacher......No question is a stupid one if you really want to understand something.

Why does society, and perhaps even mostly so the internet, encourage us to use a "mob mentality" to make others feel stupid for asking questions and wanting to clarify facts or learn more?

Yes, some are repeated....but frankly, I think they are repeated because the answers given are not serious ones, and the asker needs more info. Or the readers need more info...better info. If all the answers stink, then we HAVE to ask again and again until we get a real answer. As opposed to the bashing.....

But the bashing continues....with each asking. Like a snowball out of control.

Where did we, as a civilized society, learn this was OK? To devalue curiousity and questions?

It's not fair really, is it?! (Not that I want to of course).

But women generally have the upper hand when it comes to the dating game anyway... and make-up allows them to enhance their looks further (or even transform, in some cases) giving them even more of an advantage.

While us men just have to make do with what we already got. So why?

I just read a question on what the best black sorority is. Entire groups of people in this country are allowed and even encouraged to be racists. Native Americans, Blacks, and Hispanics do this on a daily basis and think nothing of it. Yet they scream the loudest if they think someone would have some all white club or any segregated meeting. How are we going to make it in this country if we condone racism by certain groups? I truly don't see how we can over come racism with more racism.
