My 44 year old sister is hitting me over the head with this moronic idea that poor people can't eat a healthy diet because they can't afford fresh fruits and vegetables at the store.

Has anyone else heard of this idea?

what happened to the dream we were sold as children? whereby machines would take over and by the 21st century we would only work 3 hours a day.

I feel angry and ripped off !! why are people still working like 20th century people & what shall we do about it to stop it?

I know of this really sad love story where this guy lost his wife on snowy mountain full of thunderstorms and snow would cover most of the mountain making it impossible to climb it so many times in a year. He stayed at the base of the mountain and kept going up every opportunity to look for her. Obviously he loved her very much and he continued doing this for so many years till he lost all his toes and some of his fingers through frostbite. Many travellors who had heared of him tried to convince him to forget her but he would not listen and kept doing this year in year out, sometimes twice or thrice in a year .Finally when he found her after an avalanche opened up her "grave" he was so struck with the circumstance under which he found her that he hugged her and died in her arms. Ok, so i shop on rodeo quit a bit And i saw Tyra yesterday and how these girls would walk down there and everybody is staring at them like they dont belong around here cause they had no makeup on and had ugly clothes on. Just watching them i felt the embarressment and the intimidation they must have felt.I know how upper middle class and upper class people can be. They are very judgemental.I am catorigized as upper middle class...and to be honest, i have a few times wondered why would someone that looks lower class would be around here, but i know its mean , but its life. But has anyone here ever been to rodeo and have class descrimination or was treatly badly? oh and by the way...thinking about it...i certaintly am going to stop looking people up and down, everybody should be treated equally.

Why does it seem that everyone on TV or in Film is left handed?? Seriously, next time you watch something, start to notice who is left handed and who is not. I just find it strange since lefties aren't as common as righties.

Is it just me...or do half the people on here posting questions have spelling problems? If they dont have spelling problems, they cant seem to put together a sentence that makes sense. Most of them seem to be over the age of 19 or 20....this scares me. What do the rest of you think....

ok so i was walkin home with my bf and 2 of my friends and 2 of my bf's friends, so one of my friends made it home first then my other friend made it home, so it was me,my bf,and his 2 friends,my bf go home so it was just me and my bf's friends walkin home we were walkin past a few buildings and they dragged me into an ally and beat me then raped me. later i found out i was pregnant, so my bf beat his friends (they r in jail now) and i gave my baby 2 another family so they could give her a better life i was just wondering how offten does this happen

Saw a blind guy stinking it up at a corner asking for change for his alcohol fix (african american btw) anyway I kicked his little pathetic change jar over and pretended to help him but swiped a few dollars from the poor sap. I dont feel bad about it cause he is causing our city to look like a refugee city and stuff. Does it make a difference if hes as blind as bat?
