at the starting up, someone won't be able to look gay. they'd look like some stereotype that society has assigned them, yet what number circumstances do you word someone and say, "Wow, that guy seems heterosexual!" yet in case you propose do you look like the stereotype that society has assigned lesbians of being butch, rather a lot masculine, then no you do not. when I see you I see a woman. no longer some thing else. no longer some more thing desirable. you ought to not enable what one guy says influence the way you sense about your self, because he's for sure no longer look after adequate in himself to have a woman beat him in some thing as insignificant as pool. So, no the way you act does no longer deliver off a 'gaydar.' It only shows that you do what you want and excel at issues maximum adult males do not assume women to.

Because lesbians have become a more accepted part of society than gay men. It is seen as more acceptable for women to experiment with the same sex than men. Also most men find lesbianism as a turn on.

I am a lesbian and I can tell you that there is real prejudice out there against us too. The ignorance, cruelty and mob mentality of some heterosexuals is very real and very dangerous. I hope that other straight folks who are more intelligent and kind will join us in combating this kind of primitive behavior. Thanks for the chance to speak up.

because for some strange reason homophobic men think that two women together is sexy, while two men are gross.
also lesbians don't get beat up because most women (not all) are more tolerant.
kind of crazy huh?

Because women are comfortable with other women and men who are gay. With men, it's a pride thing. Men think it's hot for women to be gay and it doesn't mess with their straight orientation, but they hate gay men, because that's not a man's theme to them. They also tend to want to pick on people they think are weaker than them. It's a man's answer, but I can see what you are talking about!

Men are the more violent of the two sexes. Most men are attracted to women and will tell you that they can understand why they would be attracted to eachother. They will, however, tell you that they cannot understand why a man would be attracted to another man. Also, most men who commit violent acts against homosexuals are insecure about their own sexuality. (Are latently homosexual and in denial).

Because, strangely enough, straight men are afraid of gay men's vaster sexual potential. Few gays have not had a least one woman. Perversely straights are afraid that gays will inseminate their women. Think about it.
