I think 'touching base' and 'Thursday is the new Friday' are the worst.

I despise text and internet shorthand, kids over the next few decades wont be able to spell their own names or read the newspapers even The Sun unless they are rendered in these foul degradations of language

I can't stand the 'Touching Base' one either, the 'Oh my god' and I used to hate 'Give me a ball park figure'.

"Pink is the new black"
Excuse me??? Black happens to be my favorite color, partly because it is so versatile. I despise pink. Calling pink 'the new black' is not going to suddenly render me stupid and make me think it will go with everything.
Besides, I'd rather be mistaken for a Goth than the Easter Bunny any day.
