Not a forum for hate, a real question. I am “white” but I see racism everywhere, albeit subtle, but it’s there.

I am using state in the international vernacular meaning country.
I thought that was obvious.

Why doesn’t the leadership reflect the diversity of this Nation?

Your use of "state" to denote a nation state is fine with me. :)

Secondly, yes -- racism is everywhere, including the U.S. It's one of the byproducts of generations of tribalism built into our society.

At times we're better at controlling or at least masking it. At other times (typically times of stress), the naked ugliness shows itself in living color.

I think America is pretty bad when it comes to hate in general not just against race. Because we have every different type of person here there almost seems to be like "high school cliques" happening. Everybody walking around with Italian flag tattoos, and Puerto Rican flags on their shirts, we really do the racism to ourselves I think. By seperating ourselves in our own country, it's going to happen!

If we are going to live in America we have to be Americans. We obviously are still going to be black or white or hispanic BUT we will be Americans first. That's the way it should be.

**Did you people that don't know what "state" means ever go to a history class?**

No, I don't think racism is built into the system, so I can't blame the state. (Funny that people don't know what a state is.)

I think the racism you are seeing is inevitable prejudice. Everyone looks at a stranger and makes snap decisions about them without meeting them, or only knowing them a short time. The ability to amend these initial thoughts is what you should go for--you can't live without judging people, it is being too stubborn to change your judgment, and being judgmental that you should worry about.
