Would you laugh if someone slipped and fell ? A phycologist once said" the reason we laugh when someone falls is because were glad it wasnt us." Do you agree?

we live in houses, not caves - we drive cars not camels. even england and spain and france are old fashioned! why are we the best at everything? we rule the world, we have the best tv and music and clothes - everyone else in the world wants to be like america, why would they have a problem with us taking over? i dont understand!

Now before you all start answering this question.. make sure you read all the details.

Yes, we worry about them equally! but I am talking about as they grow and become teenagers, who do you think has more worries in their lives? the parents of a teenage boy or the parents of a teenage girl?

I am a parent of 2 teenage boys and I worry about them, but I thank god that I don't have 2 teenage girls. I think as a parent when you have a daughter you tend to worry more about her well being a little more than you do a boy, especially in todays society. What is your opinion on this?

Some questioners are looking for genuine answers - but many of the people who do answer questions seem to know nothing, but have opinions on everything.

I see so many valid questions being asked about things that people have strong views on and a lot of replies seem to be very defensive as if the responders are being attacked personally.

Does this reflect the current state of global relations?
Are we acting this way as a result of having to 'defend our way of life' in so many ways?

Thanks for your help. I'm off to a black tie party next week and have my evening suit, I saved up to get one tailor-made so it looks really nice, I've never had a bespoke suit before so I'm quite proud of it.

Question is, do I just wear suit with shirt, bow tie and cummerbund or do I swap the cummerbund for a black waistcoat?

Are the two styles meant for two different occassions- what do you think?

Thanks!
