I would agree and say that the freedom to be yourself and not worry so much about what other people think is GREAT!!!

When you're in your 20s you are still running around trying to figure out who you are and what you want in life. It is a mess...i think that is the identity crisis stage of life. lol.

As you get older you are more comfortable in your own skin. You realize there are certain things you just can't change and you have to live with it and love yourself for who are you. I have to say there are always room for improvements and people will continue to grow BUT it's not for others (friends, family, spouse) but for yourself.

I am 46 and have been thinking about this lately. As i get older i realize that many of my decisions are far more accepted, i have much less anxiety, i have a wider variety of experience to draw on. I can still party all i want but no one thinks I'm being irresponsible.

Good question. =) When I was in my teens, I used to be afraid of getting older. I'm 34 now and I love everything about it and about getting old. With age really comes wisdom and a better understanding about life. And I also love that with getting older, there are less insecurities about myself. I'm more secure of my self, my actions, my thoughts, my words/opinions and my likes and dislikes in general. Cheers to old age! LOL

"Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law."

Okay I am only 17 however I can see the experience gained everyday I will be confident everyday of my experience I had and still am having rather the fear of it ending. And the search of me not being an individual but finding the all (my spiritual ideal, Thelema.) And me finding me True Will. Good luck to you and your many many days left to you! Do what thou wilt!

I like the freedom too. We can decide things for ourselves etc .. and I also like the fact that we become more sensible as we grow older :D

It tends to give you a broader perspective of things which tends to keep you out of more trouble. Like the old saying "been there done that." Hopefully with more experience you don't repeat the same mistakes.

I agree with you and the wisdom that comes with getting older. If only we knew then what we know now, the heartache we could have avoided, eh?

Learning from my mistakes, and (usually) not repeating them. Processes get easier the second time through.
