We made language. Somebody developed words like Monday, tuesday...sunday.

Then we developed numbers and with the help of numbers, we made years like 1456, 1766, 1989, 2006....

We know sunrise and sunset but again with the help of numbers, we made time..1:00 a.m, 3:00 a.m, 17:30 P.M

We made dates with the help of numbers- 22nd, 26th, 3rd...

We developed months with the help of language- Jan, March, May, Nov....

At every stage, we try to give life a 'meaning'. We forced ourself to develop a meaningful purpose by inventing numbers, dates, months, years etc. But by default, life is meaningless.

Sunrise happens and then sunset. We came here randomly when sperm met egg and die randomly in terrorist attack, accidents. How can be there a meaning to life when we get layoff from work on one fine day ?

We have forced ourself to make life meaningful but at every point of time with disaster, floods, attacks or diseases nature have proved everything is random and meaningless.

Nope.

We gave names to the things that had meaning. "Sunrise" was named that because it meant something to early man. It meant the time that the light came up over the trees on that side of camp. That side of camp was named "East" to distinguish it from the side where the light went away.

You'll note that there's not a name for when an ant leaves the anthill and heads out looking for lunch. That's because there was no meaning to us for that action.

Your argument lacks logic. Life and death may be occur randomly, beyond our control... but how does that make it meaningless? So someone dies unexpectedly - does that mean they should never have lived at all, that there was absolutely no purpose to their having lived? Even if their only purpose was in having a child and continuing the cycle of life, or in being a productive member of the workforce, that still gives some meaning to their life, a reason for their being here.

Look, go take a long hot bath, then have something yummy to eat and watch some TV that makes you laugh. You'll feel better. (and that, in itself, is meaningful.)

it type of feels major to you to interpret particular factors of life as evidence of meaninglessness. yet do not you already comprehend you've got here upon meaning in meaninglessness! And you should both pull out the coolest things in existence (love, music and artwork, technology, etc.), and use them as evidence of the meaningfulness of existence. possibly existence is someplace between meaningless and meaninglessness, or possibly it doesn't remember? Does your arbitrary evidence of the "glass 1/2 empty" exclude others from seeing "the glass 1/2 finished?" back, to declare meaninglessness remains a declare of meaning. wondering so negatively is risky for you and some thing persons!

The meaning of life is what you make of life. Try and make your own life meaningful then everything will be better.
